Problem:

The battery drains more quickly when using the Internet (especially when watching online videos) with 5G compared to 4G.

Cause:

On a 5G network, more bandwidth is required to create a smooth user experience when using the Internet. Therefore, more power may be consumed, especially when using the Internet to watch online videos.
In a 5G network, the speed is faster. It consumes more power per unit time than a 4G network, but the transmission is faster, and the experience is better.

Solution：

You can search for 5G Power Saving mode in Settings, tap to open it and turn on 5G Power Saving mode (automatically switch between a 4G/5G network to improve battery life).
