Terms and Conditions of Participation for
“Subscribe to receive a £300 early bird voucher for Honor Magic 7 Pro and get the chance to buy it for £1 or become a Magic Insider” Promotion

1. Scope of Application

1.1 By taking part in the “Subscribe to receive a £300 early bird voucher for Honor Magic 7 Pro and get the chance to buy it for £1 or become a Magic Insider” event (hereinafter referred to as “Promotion” or “Activity”, or “Event”), the participant accepts these terms and conditions.

1.2 Participants shall comply with the HONOR Platform Terms of Use (agreement.itsec.honor.com/asm/agrFile/getHtmlFile?agrNo=1025&country=gb&branchId=0&langCode=en-gb) for user submissions and/or uploads. Submissions that violate the applicable terms of use or guidelines shall be disqualified.

2. Organizer

The organizer of this Promotion is Honor Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd, a company duly incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, with its registered office at Landmark Office Space, 450 Brook Drive, Green Park, Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom, RG2 6UU and company number 13152943 (hereinafter, “we”, “our” or “HONOR”).

3. Eligibility for Participation

3.1 The event opens to all persons who, at the date of entry, are

(1) aged 18 years or over and,

(2) resident in UK.

3.2 Employees of the Organizer and its affiliates, their family members and employees of any collaborating partners who are or have been involved in the creation or implementation of the Promotion are not eligible to participate.

3.3 Participation is only possible on one’s own behalf and Joint submissions are not allowed. There is a restriction on one entry per person per event.

4. Participation

4.1 To participate in these activities, the participant must subscribe to the HONOR newsletter by entering his/her email address or WhatsApp number during the Subscribe & Win Period.

4.2 By subscription, customers will automatically participate in THREE activities listed in 4.3, 4.3 and 4.5.

4.3 Activity 1: to receive a £300 early bird voucher for the purchase of Honor Magic7 Pro. This activity will run from 00:01 6th December 2024 to 23:59 14th January 2025 (“Subscribe & Win Period”) via our online store https://www.honor.com/uk/shop/new-launch/. Submissions received outside of this period will not be considered.

4.4 Activity 2: to get the chance to buy Honor Magic7 Pro for £1. This activity will run from 00:01 6th December 2024 to 23:59 14th January 2025 (“Subscribe & Win Period”) via our online store https://www.honor.com/uk/shop/new-launch/. Submissions received outside of this period will not be considered.

4.5 Activity 3: to join the Magic Insider Program and become one of the Magic Insiders. This Program will run from 00:01 GMT on 20th December to 23:59 GMT on 5th January (“Subscribe & Win Period”). Submissions received outside of this period will not be considered.

4.6 Participation containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, or any other unsuitable material will be disqualified and returned by the Organizer.

5. Prize

5.1 £300 HONOR Magic7 Pro Early Bird Voucher

a. All the participants will receive a £300 Early Bird Voucher for the purchase of HONOR Magic7 Pro on HONOR UK Online Store [https://www.honor.com/uk/] or My HONOR APP.

b. The Early Bird Voucher code will be sent to the Participants’ email address or WhatsApp submitted with the entry on 15th January 2025.

c. The Early Bird Voucher code will be valid from 15th January 2025 to 21st January 2025.

5.2 Voucher to purchase HONOR Magic7 Pro for £1

a. One (1) Voucher will be awarded for the purchase of HONOR Magic7 Pro on HONOR UK Online Store [https://www.honor.com/uk/] or My HONOR APP for only 1 Pound.

b. The winner will be selected by a computerised randomisation process from.

c. The Prize (Voucher Code) will be sent to the winner’s email address or WhatsApp submitted with the entry on 15th January 2025.

d. The Voucher Code will be valid until and including 15th February 2025.

5.3 Magic Insider Selection and Acceptance

a. Three Magic Insiders will be selected by HONOR’s in-house marketing team from all eligible entries to experience the Magic7 Pro by following the rules listed in section 5.4.

b. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

c. Selected Magic Insiders will be notified via email or WhatsApp within 72 hours after the Subscribe and Win Period.

d. Selected Magic Insiders must accept the participation opportunity within 72 hours after receiving notification. If the Magic Insider fails to accept within this period, the opportunity shall be forfeited, and a new participant will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.

e. Selected Magic Insiders will be required to sign the Sample Device Evaluations Agreement prior to receiving the device.

5.4 Extra Details for Magic Insider Program

a. Magic Insiders will receive one sample of the HONOR Magic7 Pro for a one-month evaluation period.

b. The device will be sent by the Promoter via post to the address provided by the Magic Insider. The postal address must be in the UK. The Magic Insider shall promptly confirm receipt of the device to the Promoter.

c. Magic Insiders must be available to test the sample device for a period of one month and are expected to create content (words, images, and videos) about their experience with the device. If the Magic Insider cannot complete these actions, the Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the device.

d. At the end of the one-month period, the Magic Insider shall arrange the prompt return of the device to the Promoter via recorded delivery.

e. Magic Insiders are responsible for any taxes or charges incurred in receiving the device.

f. The device is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

g. Further information are to be obtained from the Sample Device Evaluations Agreement

6. Extra Prize Terms

6.1 The winner(s) will be responsible for any taxes or charges incurred in claiming the prize.

6.2 The Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control make it necessary to do so.

6.3 Compensation of the prize in cash, its exchange, or its transfer to another person is excluded.

6.4 The Organizer does not accept any responsibility if participants are not able to take up the prize.

6.5 For the purchase of HONOR Magic7 Pro, HONOR Terms and Conditions of sale https://www.honor.com/uk/terms-of-purchase/ shall apply.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 By participating in the Program and accepting the Prize, the Magic Insider accepts that the Promoter has the right to use their words, images and video materials for the purposes of product and brand marketing in global areas for two years for free, including but not limited to using submissions in social media, print media, printings, exhibitions, retail stores, roadshows, digital content, out-of-home media, and other marketing activities.

7.2 The Magic Insider warrants that his/her submitted entry is free of third-party rights, in particular, free of copyrights, logos and other intellectual property rights (e. g. patents, trademarks, design rights, know-how, etc.), and that the Magic Insider has the right to grant a license to the Promoter pursuant to section 8.1.

7.3 The Magic Insider agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Promoter (including its affiliate, officers, employees, and agents) against any claim by any third party due to a breach of section 8.2.

8. Data Protection

8.1 By participating in these activities, HONOR will collect your information including your email account or phone number.

8.2 The winners will be announced on HONOR’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) and Honor’s website https://www.honor.com/uk/notices/winners/ after the selection by using their email address or phone number provided in anonymised form (e.g. 123***@gmail.com).

8.3 Your data will be stored in the UK and processed by us as the data controller, and our authorised representatives only for the purposes of running the promotion and awarding the prizes.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 If any provision of these Conditions of Participation is held invalid by any law, rule, command or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

9.2 All legal relationships arising because or in connection with these conditions and the events are governed by England and Wales law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. Mandatory laws of the participant’s resident country explicitly apply.

9.3 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

9.4 The Organizer reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend these terms where it becomes necessary to do so.
