Hi Fans,

HONOR recently changed its smartphone update policy introducing monthly & quarterly security patch programmers, wherein some phones will receive updates on a monthly basis, while others on a quarterly basis. As per the list, one such device that will be updated on a quarterly basis is Honor Play.

As many of you guys know, monthly device updates are an important tool to keep Android users safe and protect their devices. In this article, I would be providing you all with the steps in order for you to have a successful update.

Changelog:

This update improves system security with Google security patches.

Security:

Integrates Google security patches released in June 2019 for improved system security.

Update notes:
