我的荣耀 开启荣耀之旅
Last reply :
When I started to take pictures from my first film camera I used to wait for weeks for prints to be developed. Every time I look at those prints my pictures were miles away from those beautiful pictures and posters I have seen on the walls of restaurants and offices. Basically, it was a costly learning experience for me. Probably some of you may have spent more than I did.
Fast-forward to the current era of mobile photography, photography is piece of cake. Anyone can take smartphones out and click an unlimited amount of pictures. This easy access to photography may have erased the value of photography that used to be. However, the value of a good picture is equal as it used to be.
We all want to take good pictures, good enough pictures that our friends and family appreciate, or good enough pictures for our social media. As I have mentioned earlier taking pictures nowadays is easy and effortless. However, taking a good picture takes skills and knowledge.
Here are a few things that consider important steps and points to take a good picture from a Smartphone.
I have divided my photography process into four categories and it has subcategories. It is self-explanatory but you can read below for more details.

i) Basic
a. Clean the lenses for Crystal clear photos
b. Set The Focus To Ensure Your Subject Is Always Sharp
c. Keep Your Camera Steady For Sharp, Shake-Free Shots
ii) Know your device
a. Know your lenses and image sensor.

iii) Composition.
a. Use The Rule Of Thirds To Compose Beautiful Mobile Photos

c. Experiment With Different Perspectives For More Unique Images
d. Simplify Your Compositions For The Most Striking Shots
iv) Edit.

Try to hold your phone steady while taking shot. Depending on the light condition you may need to hold your breath to minimize shake.
4. Know your lenses and image sensor.
A smartphone comes with various lenses and image sensors. Knowing all attributes of the camera setup helps to use the full potential of the camera. Most smartphones come with more than one lens.
i. Shoot in Portrait Mode to Create Gorgeous Blurred Backgrounds, Enable or disable AI mode and other modes such as Pro mode, night mode, light painting ETC.

Editing picture is another key aspect of a good picture. Simply modifying brightness, contrast, highlight, shadow and sharpness will make a huge difference in how the picture appears. Understanding some of these basic editing tools makes post edit easy and effective. Sometimes using a different filter makes the picture appear better.
