How many times a day you pick up your phone? Mobile phones became such a vital part of our lives and we no longer can even imagine our life without them. That is also why we should take a good care of them, specially their hygiene. After all, no one wants to have more bacteria on their phone than there is on a regular toilet seat. So how to proceed properly when disinfecting your mobile phone? Take a look at the HONOR guide below!
1. Switch off the mobile phone
It seems like a banality, but be sure to turn off your phone before you start with disinfecting. Especially with very sensitive screens, you will avoid running apps that you did not want to open.
2. Wash your hands thoroughly
Wash your hands thoroughly is recommended before proceeding with the disinfection process.
3. Use alcohol-based products to clean the phone
Alcohol-based products, such as isopropyl and similar substances (used, for example, to clean glasses or a cameras) are a good form of disinfection. Never apply the product directly to the phone display. Apply it first on a tissue or, ideally, a microfiber cloth.
4. Remove the phone from its case or cover
Remove the phone from the packaging / cover before disinfection. After cleaning the phone, do not forget the same procedure with the cover.
5. Thorough cleaning is important
Apply a small amount of cleaning substance to a paper towel or micro cloth and wipe the entire screen thoroughly. Continue along the sides and back of the phone. Don’t dorget to clean the cover of the phone as well.
6. Where do you mostly use and take out your phone? This is also very important
Do not use it unnecessarily in public transport, you can always use wireless headphones to receive calls and switch music. If you avoid taking your phone to the bathroom and toilet, it will help to keep your phone even more clean ☺
