I am running EMUI 9.0.1 on an Honor 10 lite but having massive problems with notifications.

Some apps are triggering alerts on both the lock screen and in the notifications bar at the top of the screen (eg, WhatsApp, Messages) .

But others (like Outlook and Gmail) are not triggering anything whatever I try - not on the lock screen, not in the notifcations bar, and not even with a "dot" on the app icon.

Very frustrating to say the least and not something I will be happy to put up with for much longer.

The permissioning appears the same for all the apps, and I have lock screen notifications as "show" and "allow notifications" selected within each app, with each option "enabled"

UPDATE: Contacted Charlie via the webchat, who ran through a few potential solutions but to no avail. He promised me an email with more potential solutions, but the mail did not arrive.

WhatsApp alerts have now stopped working by the way. Looks like a return to store and refund will be on the cards.
