Honor has received another notable update that brings essential functions on the watch. The firmware version 1.0.7.16 has dispatched for the latest Honor MagicWatch 2 in all the major countries.

It has added a remote camera shutter function to the smartwatch. Now, Honor users can use their MagicWatch 2 to control the phone camera by using Remote camera shutter function. It is the simple camera controller app, and at the moment, you can only use it to capture the photo. In the later version, it might get a timer, focus, and switch camera options.
The camera controller app only supports with Honor or Huawei smartphones running on EMUI 10.1 or later versions. For the fitness-centric users, the company has introduced new 100 workout modes. The watch already supports plenty of sports mode, and the newly added modes will surely help you to achieve your goals. These workouts are yoga, belly dance, jazz dance, group training, badminton, baseball, *, aerobics, and many more. You can add new sports modes from the Workout menu in your MagicWatch 2.
To enhance the quality of the existing features, Honor has taken care of known bugs. The latest software update is available in all the major countries. It is 41MB download, and you can install it from the paired smartphone.
