You may have seen we started a discussion today about annoying features commonly associated with laptops. So far, some of you have pointed out battery issues as a main cause for concern. As the MagicBook launch draws nearer we thought we would highlight some of the points where it really shines
Your laptop is your lifeline, powering immersive entertainment and round-the-clock productivity. But when it's out of juice – it's just a useless hunk of metal, weighing you down during a long day.
The laptop charger is your last line of defense, all that stands between these two extremes. Unfortunately, many chargers are either as thick as a cord, frustratingly slow to charge, liable to be tripped over, or wont to be left at home due to their unwieldiness. For whatever reason, they often don't offer seamless charging when it's most desperately needed.
The HONOR MagicBook 14 charger breaks the mold – it's slender and unobtrusive, but as powerful as the day is long, capable of fast-charging the laptop at a staggering 65W, or in more practical terms, from 0 to 46% in just half an hour! Since the MagicBook 14 supports up to 10 hours of typical use or 9.5 hours of video playback on a full charge, you can see how just a little could go a long way!
Now let's take a look at it – you'd be forgiven for thinking you were looking at a phone charger instead… well, in a way, you'd actually be right!
The detachable cable has Type-C and Type-A plugs on either end, ensuring that your phone and full range of accessories are raring to go when your MagicBook 14 doesn't need to be charged. At 160 grams (without the cable), the charger probably weighs even less than your phone, and its supple cable is perfect for navigating the typical barriers you'd encounter in a crowded café or airport lounge. Automatic overheating safeguards ensures carefree ease.
The laptop itself has enough ports to supply a small navy: an HDMI port for audio/video output, a USB 3.0 port to facilitate on-the-go device and peripheral charging, and a multi-function Type-C port that enables you to charge, project video, or blast audio, when the need arises.
