[Latest and Simpler Tutorial] Install GMS on HONOR 9X PRO via USB Drive!

This GMS installation tutorial is the latest and simplest with only 4 steps I found now, which you can finish in a few minutes. Now follow the steps and get GMS on your HONOR 9X PRO!

Get prepared:
Download the installation package and extract it to your USB-C flash drive. Download link:

(There are 3 folders inside the package: “Google pack” folder for you to install Google apps, “fix” folder for you to install Google account manager and Google services framework, and “Huawei” folder for you to install the Google services assistant app which helps the G apps work well in HONOR 9X PRO)
Step 1: Install Google apps
Go to Files → USB drive, find “Google pack” folder, open and click the 5 apks one by one to install them all.
Step 2: Install Google account manager to login to your Google account
Go to Files → USB drive, find “fix” folder, open and click “google account manager” apk to install it.
After installation, go to System → Accounts → Add account → Google, then sign in with your Google account.
Step 3: Install Google services framework
Go to Files → USB drive, find “fix” folder, open and click “google services framework” apk to install it.
Step 4: Install Google services assistant and activate it
First, copy the “Huawei” folder to the first level directory (in the same directory as folder “USB HONOR9XPro0415”) in the USB drive.
Second, go to Settings → System → Backup & restore → Data backup → External storage → USB storage, and click the exiting one file there to install Google services assistant.
Third, open Google services assistant (the app with a purple “G” icon on your desk), allow its access to your phone and click “Activate”.
Now the installation is done and you can restart your phone. After restart, you should be able to use Google play.
(Note: There might be an unauthenticated reminder when you first use some of the APPs, after your confirmation it will not appear again, if it does, cancel all notifications of this APP in the system message notification)
