Hey Guys,

After the installation guide via USB, I share another way to install the GMS on HONOR 9X PRO in case some of you don't have the USB. You can get it with your laptop easily!

Get prepared:

Download the installation package and extract it on your PC. Download link:

(There are 3 folders inside the package: “Google pack” folder for you to install Google apps, “fix” folder for you to install Google account manager and Google services framework, and “HISUITE 0415” folder for you to install the Google services assistant app which helps the G apps work well in HONOR 9X PRO)

Install Huawei Hisuite on your PC from here:

https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/hisuite/

(After installation, connect your PC with HONOR 9X PRO with a cable, and Hisuite will be installed to your phone too with a few guided clicks)

Keep your PC connected with the phone via Hisuite, copy the two folders “Google pack” and “fix” from your PC to your phone’s internal storage.

Step 1: Install Google apps

Go to Files → Internal storage, find “Google pack” folder, open and click the 5 apks one by one to install them all.

Step 2: Install Google account manager to login to your Google account

Go to Files → Internal storage, find “fix” folder, open and click “google account manager” apk to install it.

After installation, go to System → Accounts → Add account → Google, then sign in with your Google account.

Step 3: Install Google services framework

Go to Files → Internal storage, find “fix” folder, open and click “google services framework” apk to install it.

Step 4: Install Google services assistant and activate it

Connect your PC with your phone via Hisuite, click “Restore” on PC Hisuite and select the folder “HISUITE 0415”. After restore you’ll have Google services assistant (the app with a purple “G” icon) on your phone desk.

Open Google services assistant, allow its access to your phone and click “Activate”.

Now the installation is done and you can restart your phone. After restart, you should be able to use Google play.

(Note: There might be an unauthenticated reminder when you first use some of the APPs, after your confirmation it will not appear again, if it does, cancel all notifications of this APP in the system message notification)
