[Revised Question]
Unable to broadcast across 160mhz..
[Original Question]
One of the main advantages of Wifi 6 is 160mhz...but using this router its no use in the UK given Huawei have locked the firmware to a max channel of 62 only. Without using DFS bands, its impossible to use 160mhz contigous. Even 80+80 is impossible as you cant select channel 50.
For those non techies, this means less speed.
For Huawei - why limit the 5ghz channel selection to 62 max only? Even my Virgin Super Hub allows upto circa 100. Very disappointed customer. I suppose you get what you pay for.
[Edited as original question implied that the router was unable to select DFS channels - this is incorrect on my part. The drop downs are restricted necessarily for 160mhz to appropriate channels upto 64 as per UK regulations. 80mhz and less allows you to use higher DFS bands (subject to DFS rules). Question now poses the particular problem im facing]
