Recently I have spent a lot of time focusing on HONOR’s new smartwatches, HONOR Watch ES and in particular, HONOR Watch GS pro. Today I want to focus on the former by taking a look at what is a very useful tool considering that many of us are still spending much of our time at home and in our neighbourhood. This tool is the animated workout courses on HONOR Watch ES.
Is fitness and exercise a large part of your life? For me it is essential to not only keeping my body healthy but also keeping my mind sane as it give me the opportunity to take time to myself, sweat out any stresses and let the oxygen flow. The current global situation has highlighted just how critically important it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This is where the HONOR Watch ES comes into play with its animated workout courses. What exactly is the ES animated course? HONOR Watch ES, which is designed as a fitness meets fashion smartwatch offers 12 animated courses that guide your through different workouts. As the name suggests, these workouts are animated with cool little graphics that are featured on the 1.64 inch AMOLED Touch display screen. These visuals give you a clear and simple overview of the movement of the workout.
Can you use the 12 animated workout without a smartphone?
Yes! You will be glad to know that you can access and use the 12 animated workouts on HONOR Watch ES without a smartphone. This is because the workouts are already pre-installed onto the device, which means you can exercise freely without another device attached to you.
What workouts are available?
As mentioned, the ES has 12 pre-installed fitness workouts that can be easily followed. These include activities such as Ab ripper, Core workout, leg & glute toning, leg workout and more. Below you will find out how to access these.
Step-by-step instructions to activating the Animated Courses:
1) Turn on your watch and click the button on the right side of the face to access the menu.
2) Select workout option and then choose “Fitness Courses” that are located at the top

3) After selecting “Fitness Courses”, you will see all 12 workout modes alongside their time duration
4) Choose your preferred workout and a demo will begin showing you how to complete the exercise.

5) Follow the exercise, while your heart rate is also shown.
6) Enjoy the workout and break a sweat!
Why are the 12 workout modes more relevant than ever?
This neat fitness orientated feature on HONOR Watch ES is perfect for this time of the year for two reasons. Firstly, we are spending more time at home due to the current situation and the weather is starting to get colder, which means working out at home is one of your best options to stay fit.
