Basic operating Tutorial
To set up your HONOR Smartwatches, whatever model you own, it’s necessary to download and install the Huawei Health App.

Except for the HONOR Watch ES which comes with a rectangle screen with round corners and one button only, all the other three smartwatches come with a sound screen and two buttons. For those smartwatches with two buttons, the top one is the function button.

1. Swipe down the screen to get do not disturb, showtime, find phone, alarm, and settings.
2. Swipe up the screen to get notifications
3. Swipe to the left or right side from the home to get features including heart rate tracking, stress tracking, weather, music control, and step count.
Or you could also swipe to the right to get back to the former page. For example, you press settings after you swipe down the screen, then press the system to the next page. And if you wipe to the right, you will go back to the system page.

4. Customizing the down button is allowed. You could set up the down button to access which feature you use the most.
Swipe down the home screen or press the function button to find settings. From there, find the“down button” then you could customize that as you want.

How to pair your HONOR Smartwatch with your smartphone?

Step one: Download and install the Huawei Health app on your phone. If you use an android phone, download from the Huawei AppGallery or google play store. If you use an iPhone, download from the App Store.

Step two: Open the Huawei health App. Go to Devices then click “add” or “+” on that page.

Step three:
Then select “smartwatches” and find the model of your watch. On that page, you could see a “pair” icon.
The name of your smartwatch will appear on the screen. Find that name on the phone the next screen searching result list to initiate the pairing process.
You will need to touch the“check” mark to approve the pairing request on the screen of the watch or band.

Note:
If your smartwatch is paired with another smartphone already, on the watch please swipe down the screen to find settings-----system-----disconnect before you pair it with another phone.

How to set up an alarm on the HONOR smartwatch?
To set up an alarm on the HONOR Watch GS pro, HONOR MagicWatch 2, and HONOR Watch ES, it’s possible to set up or edits an alarm directly on the screen. For the rest, refer to option two to set up or change the alarm.

Option one: On the screen of the watch or band, find the “alarm” icon. Normally you can swipe down the screen to find the “alarm” icon. Touch that icon and on the next screen, you could set up a new alarm or turn off/edit/delete an existing alarm. The main alarm also named smart alarm could not be deleted, but only edited or turned off.

Option two: Firstly open the Huawei health app on your phone and go to “devices” and make sure the watch or band is connected to the phone already.
Secondly, touch “alarm” after you touch your watch’s or band’s name. Then on the next page, you could see two kinds of alarm, Smart Alarm and event Alarm. The smart alarm could not be deleted, but only edited or turned on/off. You can set up a new event alarm, then edit/delete it or turn it on/off.

How to customize the watch face of your HONOR Smartwatch?

1. Setup photos as new watch face via the Huawei Health app:
For HONOR Watch GS pro, HONOR Watch ES, and HONOR MagicWatch 2, it’s allowed to set up photos stored in the phone as the watch face.

Open the Huawei Health app on your phone, and go to the device then find the name of your smartwatch. Touch “more” beside Watch faces, and switch to “Me”. Then find “Gallery” and press that.

On the next page, you will be able to add photos from the photo gallery of your phone. Click “style” and “layout” to choose how you want the new watch face to look like. Save it. And if you choose the gallery as the watch face from the screen of your watch, then the new watch faces will appear at the screen.

2. Change watch face on the screen:
To customize the watch face, when the screen is on, simply press it for about 2 to 3 seconds until when you feel the vibration of the smartwatch.

Then on the screen, you could swipe to the left or right side to change watch faces.

How to enable health monitoring including continuous heart rate, activity reminder, sleep tracking, stress level, SoP2, and female cycle tracker?

Press the function button to access the SpO2 feature of the HONOR Magicwatch 2

Step one: Make sure the smartwatch and phone are connected. Then open the Huawei health app on your phone.

Step two: Find and hit “Health Monitoring”. From the next page, you could enable/disable sleep tracking, stress monitoring, continuous heart rate monitoring, and activity reminder.

For SoP2 and Female cycle tracking, press the function button, and find the SpO2 or female cycle to use the feature.
Only HONOR MagicWatch 2, HONOR Watch GS pro, and HONOR Watch ES support SoP2. And only HONOR MagicWatch 2 and HONOR Watch ES support Female cycle tracking.

How to get WhatsApp message, Facebook message, and other notification on my HONOR Smartwatch?

Step one: Connect the smartwatch to your phone. Then open the Huawei Health App, go to the device and click on the name of your watch.

Step two: Find “Notification” on the page, enable that and check the apps for which you want to receive a notification on the smartwatch.

How to find your smartphone using the smartwatch?

Step one: Firstly you need to activate the screen by press physical power button, or the power button on the screen.

Step two: Swipe down the screen to get “Find Phone”. Or you can press the function button and find “Find Phone”.
Touch that on the screen. If your smartphone is still connected to the watch or band, the phone itself will play to ringtone (even if the phone is in silent mode) notifying you its location.

Note: To use this, the smartphone and the smartwatch should be connected.

How to use the remote photo shooting function on my HONOR Smartwatch?

Step one: Make sure your phone is connected via Bluetooth to the HONOR smartwatch.

Step two: Press the function button on the right side of the smartwatch. If you have two buttons, it’s the up button. Find “remote shutter” and touch that. The camera of your phone will be initiated and you will be able to touch the camera icon on the screen of the smartwatch to take a photo from the phone.

If you use this feature for the first time, and the camera of your phone is not initiated, simply open the camera of the phone.

How to answer a phone call on my HONOR smartwatch?
Answering a phone call is supported on HONOR Watch GS pro, HONOR MagicWatch 2 both 46mm and 42 mm variant. And setup is not required to use this function.

When the smartwatch is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, and you receive a call, the watch will vibrate and display the caller’s number and name. You can decide to answer or reject that call.

For HONOR Watch ES and HONOR Watch Magic, it’s only allowed to reject, since there is no built-in speaker and microphone.

Is it possible to initiate a call from the HONOR Smartwatch to others?

Initiating a call is supported on both the HONOR Magicwatch 2 and the HONOR Watch GS pro. Firstly open the Huawei Health app and go to the device—your watch.
Secondly, click “favorite contacts” to add a contact to the smartwatch. 10 favorite contacts could you set up on the Watch GS pro.
Thirdly, press the function button to access contact and initiate a call from there.

How to play/control music on my HONOR Smartwatch?

1. To play music stored on the smartwatch:

Step one: When your phone and smartwatch is connected, open the Huawei Health App on your phone. Go to device and find your smartwatch. Press the name of the watch and then music.

Step two: Click on manage music and the little “+ add songs” icon on the down left corner. Then select the songs that you want to store in the smartwatch and confirm it by hit the check mark on the top right corner.

Step three: The songs will be transferred to the watch. When it’s finished, press the function button and find “Music”. On the screen, top left corner, if you see watch icon, you could start music from the smartwatch directly. If you see phone icon there, then click the three dots icon on the down right corner and choose watch instead.

2. To control music stored on the phone:

Step one: Make sure the phone and smartwatch are connected. Then open the music app on the phone. If it’s the first time you use this feature, open the Huawei Health app, then find the name of the watch and click on “music” to enable “Control Phone Music”

Step two: Activate the screen of your HONOR smartwatch. Press the function button again and go to “music”. Click what’s displayed on the top left corner of the screen. If it’s a watch icon, then click the three dots on the down right corner and choose the phone instead.
Then you could control music stored on the phone and in this case, the sound will be from the phone itself.

Notice: The music feature is only allowed with the Android operating system.
