Hello to my amazing friends in the UK Honor Community.
For those who don’t know, Honor were kind enough to giveaway 3 of their new Laptop, the HONOR MagicBook 14 in their CEO Programme. What does CEO stand for I hear you ask? It is the Chief Experience Officer (See here: https://community.hihonor.com/uk/topic/17253/detail.htm) initiative and we have been tasked to bring our experience with the MagicBook 14 to you.
So, I bring to you today my video of unboxing and seeing the MagicBook 14 for the first time. Please note that I am not a professional broadcaster by any means and this is just me (With fantastic assistance by my partner), my Honor 20 Pro taking the video and a tripod and sofa.
As well as the MagicBook 14, I will be introducing you to my old Dell laptop as the point of comparison, so you will see me describe both the Dell Laptop (Which is now 5 years old) and the MagicBook, in preparation for a full head to head in my full review.
So without further ado, please find my video of unboxing the MagicBook 14 and comparing 2 totally different design philosophies for laptops below!
If you want to see a teardown of this fantastic little bit of kit, please check the * created by Honor’s own JJ Kwann here: https://community.hihonor.com/uk/topic/17431/detail.htm and for full details of the MagicBook 14 can be found here: https://community.hihonor.com/uk/book/393/forums.htm and https://www.hihonor.com/global/products/laptop/honor-magicbook14/
I will be doing a full comparison between this MagicBook 14 and my old Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series next weekend, so please stay tuned for the continuation of the programme and to see what I think of this laptop after I have had time to experience it for myself.
