One of the most popular sports is definitely basketball. It's not just about running and jumping, precision is needed in strategy, movements and most importantly, skill and technique when fighting on the court. Apart from being fun to move with your best friends, regular basketball sessions have many benefits such as:

One of the best parts of basketball is that it doesn't take many people or a lot of equipment to play. All you need is a ball and at least one hoop, maybe sometimes a fitness tracker to help keep track of your performance. It is simple, isn't it?

Basketball is a fast-moving game that involves a lot of variety, including shots, dribbles, passes, jumps, perimeter defense and much more. To become a skilled basketball player, you must learn some skills. One of the most important skills is the vertical jump. A better ability to enter and jump makes you a better basketball shooter. Today we present some easy jumping exercises that you can practice to get a great boost in your performance.
1. Board touches
Jump and try to touch the board or the edge. Jump 8 times in a row without stopping in the middle.

2. Bank jumps
Find a low bench or place aboard on a pair of bricks. Adjust the height as necessary, making it taller as you get better.

3. Kangaroo jump
Take a step with your right leg, jump as high as you can and go down using only your right leg. Then change the leg.

4. Sitting on the wall
Put your back against the wall and sit with your knees at a 90-degree angle as if you were sitting in a chair.

5. Leap of one leg
Jump as high as you can 10 times on your right leg and rest for 15 seconds.
