MEA - HOW TO BACK-UP YOUR DEVICE

1. Device clone

Go to settings > system & Updates > Device Clone

This option will work in case you have another phone that you can transfer the data to.

On your HONOR phone choose "This is old device" and allow the permissions then on the other phone you may install the app.

Note: In order t know the right name of the app to install properly, Go to settings > system & Updates > Device Clone then press on the three dots on top of the screen then choose About, it will show the app icon for further assist to know the app.

2. Data Backup "External storage, HONOR Suite"

Go to settings > system & Updates > Backup & Restore > Data backup

You will find 2 options:

External storage "check if the device supports OTG and SD card or not" : will assist to send to memory card or USB storage if connected.

HONOR Suite: after you choose this option you will be able to see the link you need to visit to install the app and the steps in order to transfer the data.

3. Backup to Google "Limited to the drive storage"

Go to settings > system & Updates > Backup & Restore > Backup to Google and toggle on

Make sure that you have strong WiFi in order to backup the information without any trouble, and to check your Google drive to ensure that the data is backed up as well.

Note: you may check the google account and choose the type of data that you want to backup as well.
