Magic Portal

Magic Portal, based on contextual intelligence, understands your intentions and intelligently recommends the services you need. By using a finger joint to circle the screen, you can quickly access functions such as price comparison, search and share, entertainment, bookmarking, printing, and more. You can also long-press on screen content and gently swipe towards the edges for instant access to convenient services.

If long-pressing content doesn't allow you to drag it, you can try using the finger joint circle gesture instead.
The required duration for a long press may vary depending on the app or interface. In some cases, you may need to slightly increase the press time (around 1-3 seconds) until the content can be dragged or activated.
Some apps or interfaces may restrict actions like screenshots or dragging, and Magic Portal is not supported. Please refer to the actual experience to confirm the functionality in each case.

Enable Magic Portal

Go to Settings > Honor AI > Magic Portal, and enable the Magic Portal switch.

Knuckle Circle to Launch Magic Portal

How to use Knuckle Circle:
1. Before using this feature, make sure that Magic Portal and Knuckle Circle are enabled.
2. On any interface of your phone, use a single knuckle to tap and circle the content you want to select, and Magic Portal will automatically open and intelligently recommend related services, allowing you to reach them with one tap. For example, if you see a pair of shoes while watching a video, use your knuckle to circle the shoes, and Magic Portal will automatically open and recommend multiple apps you might need. You can tap a social app to share the content with your friends or tap a shopping app to make a purchase.
Knuckle circle to copy text: In the knuckle circle selection interface, tap Extract text > Copy to copy the selected text.
Solution for no recommended services after circle selection: If no related services are recommended after circling text (e.g., circling an address without recommended navigation apps, or circling music or TV show names without recommended music or video apps), try the following:
- To automatically recognize the circled content, go to Settings > Honor AI > Magic Portal, enable Auto-recognize image and text, and try again.
- You can also tap Extract text in the circle selection interface to convert the image to text, and related services will be recommended.

How to disable Knuckle Circle

To disable Knuckle Circle, go to Settings > Honor AI > Magic Portal, and disable Knuckle Circle to use knuckle gestures for partial screenshots only.

Long press on the text to trigger Magic Portal

Select the text on the screen, then long press the selected text and drag it to the left or right edge of the screen to open the Magic Portal. Once you release your finger, you’ll be taken directly to the desired service.

Long press on the image to trigger Magic Portal

Long press on the image on the screen, then drag it to the left or right edge to open Magic Portal, and once you release your hand, you'll be taken directly to the desired service.

Long press on the file to trigger Magic Portal

Long press on the file, then drag it to the left or right edge to open Magic Portal, and once you release your hand, you'll be taken directly to the desired service. For example: Long press on the meeting minutes in the file list, then drag to forward it to a colleague.

Enable Magic Portal via Screenshots

For screens where content cannot be selected or dragged, you can use any of the following methods to trigger the Magic Portal：

Drag the entire screen content: After a successful screenshot, long press and drag the screenshot thumbnail.
Drag custom content: After a successful screenshot, tap on the thumbnail to edit. Once editing is complete, long press and drag the screenshot.

Customize the Magic Portal service

Go to Settings > Honor AI > Magic Portal, tap Custom services, and you can add Recommended services to the side list. When opening Magic Portal, if a service supports dragging or selecting images or text, the service will be displayed first.

For example, if you have customized a service that only supports text, after dragging or selecting text, the service will be displayed first. If you drag or select an image, the service will not be displayed since it does not support images. (Note: This is only applicable to MagicOS 9.0 and above.)
