There is a notification indicating that the network may be monitored

Problem:

A message in the notification panel indicates that the network may be monitored. Touching this message brings up another message, indicating that a CA certificate has been installed on the phone and that mobile data usage may be monitored or modified.

Cause:

A security protection mechanism for Android phones will be triggered if a third-party app with a CA certificate has been installed on your phone. These apps will monitor or even alter user data. Your phone will alert you if any of these apps have been detected.

Solution:

Open Settings, search for and access Trusted credentials, and touch User to check the apps with a CA certificate installed.

You can uninstall the app if needed. Then go back to the Trusted credentials screen, touch User, select the certificate of that app, and touch Delete.
