The screen becomes less sensitive to touch operations when the phone/tablet is held and operated with one hand
| The screen becomes less sensitive to touch operations when the phone/tablet is held and operated with one hand |
Problem:
The phone/tablet screen sometimes does not respond when the user uses their phone/tablet with one hand.
Cause:
The touch controls on certain app screens are small, so it might be difficult for you to hold your phone/tablet in one hand and use fingers of that hand to touch the target positions.
Solution:
- When you are using your phone/tablet, hold it using both hands to see if this resolves the issue. If the issue only occurs when you are using your phone/tablet with one hand, it is likely that you are accidentally touching the screen with your palm. This is especially likely to happen if your phone/tablet has a large screen. If the issue occurs frequently, you are advised to adjust how you hold your phone/tablet or use the phone/tablet with both of your hands.
- If the issue persists, refer to General troubleshooting for touchscreen issues.
