Watermarks may be visible on certain parts of the screen due to appearance processing and texture design. To solve this problem, perform the following steps:
- Check whether the watermarks are located at the ambient light sensor hole or status indicator hole (near the receiver and camera).
The holes of these two components are specially processed. In certain cases, a hole similar to a watermark can be seen at those locations.
- Check whether the pattern and coating on the screen becomes uneven only when viewed from certain angles.
HONOR phones feature advanced pattern designs and coating techniques to improve the appearance and feel of their screens. The pattern or coating may vary between phones and may seem different when viewed from some angles. This is a normal phenomenon to happen during production.
