The screen is darker than other phones/tablets even when the brightness is set to maximum

If the screen is darker than other phones/tablets even when the brightness is set to maximum,please refer to the following steps for troubleshooting:

Disable automatic brightness adjustment

Search for and access Brightness in Settings, disable Automatic or Automatic adjustment, then drag the brightness bar to adjust the screen brightness. If the brightness changes, set it to maximum, then compare it with other phones/tablets.

Avoid overheating the phone/tablet

When using high power consumption applications such as games, taking photos, or recording videos, CPU, GPU, and other major components will generate heat continuously. In order to prevent the phone/tablet from overheating, the temperature control system in the device will reduce the power consumption of the phone/tablet by adjusting screen brightness, thus reducing the heat and ensuring safe use. It is recommended that you use your phone/tablet at room temperature or wait until it cools down.

If the screen brightness does not increase or the screen is still noticeably darker than other phones/tablets, back up your data and take your device and the proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.
