There are no Highlights albums

Problem:

No Highlights albums are auto-created in Gallery.

Your device creates albums of your best photos and videos selected from Gallery based on time and location information. Photos and videos taken within 12 hours at a location where you go frequently (like your house or workplace) will be gathered in one Highlights album. For photos and videos taken at a location where you don't go frequently, those taken within 48 hours will be put in another Highlights album.

Solution:

For Highlights to work properly, the following requirements must all be met:

GPS tag is enabled in the Camera settings and Location is enabled on your device so that your photos and videos will have a location tag.
Your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network (not a personal hotspot) or a mobile data network, and Access to Internet and location info is enabled in Gallery Settings.
The photos are in .jpg format and on the Camera tab. (To check this, touch the icon in the upper right corner of the photo.)
There are at least 10 non-duplicate photos/videos taken at the same location.
Note: A photo will be recognized as duplicate if it is taken within 15 seconds or 1 meter from the previous photo, or the content is the same as the previous photo.
Your device is charging with the screen turned off and the battery level is higher than 50%.

Wait several days after you shoot photos and videos for a Highlights album to be created.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Honor Customer Service Center for assistance.
