  • Q1: What is Screen and Back Cover Protection service?

    The Screen and Back Cover Protection service provides customers with the following coverage:

    • For Phones: One (1) screen replacement and one (1) back cover replacement within 365 days from the service purchase date. (Note: This service excludes all foldable devices.)

    • For Tablets: One (1) screen replacement within 365 days from the service purchase date.

    This service is applicable in cases of accidental collisions, falls, or drops during normal use, as well as damaged or broken screens or back covers. Repairs can be conveniently carried out at HONOR Authorised Service Centers for a service fee.

  • Q2: How do I purchase the Screen and Back Cover Protection service?

    ou may purchase this service in the following ways:

    • In-person at an HONOR Experience Store or HONOR Authorised Service Center if your device is within 3 days of activation.

    • As an add-on deal at the product or cart page before checkout when buying a new device (selected models) on the HONOR Malaysia official website here.

    • From the HONOR Care service products page if your device is within 3 days of activation.

  • Q3: Are there additional fees when using the Screen and Back Cover Protection service?

    Yes, a specific service fee of RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes) will apply.

  • Q4: How do I utilise the Screen and Back Cover Protection service?

    To utilise the service, please visit an HONOR Authorised Service Center with your device and proof of service purchase. The authorised personnel will assist you with the replacement process.

  • Q5: Can I enjoy service fee waivers of Screen and Back Cover Protection during HONOR Service Day?

    No. Repairs under this service do not qualify for promotional offers on HONOR Service Day, and customers must pay the applicable service fee.

  • Q6: Can the Screen and Back Cover Protection service be purchased with other HONOR Care services?

    • You may purchase it alongside the Extended Warranty (if applicable).

    • It cannot be purchased concurrently with Accidental Damage Protection.

    Screen and Back Cover Protection (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") is offered by Honor Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No.: 202101003804 (1404103-P)), with registered office at Level 23A & 25, Menara Binjai, No. 2, Jalan Binjai, 50450 Kuala Lumpur (“HONOR”). These Terms and Conditions serve as an effective contract between you and HONOR regarding the Service. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By utilizing this service, you acknowledge your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from proceeding with the operation or purchase, as you will not be able to benefit from this service.

    1. Service Content

    1.1 Upon acquiring the Screen and Back Cover Protection (whether purchased or gifted), your device is covered for a duration of 365 days under normal usage conditions. This protection applies to cracks, damage, or breakage of the screen and back cover resulting solely from accidental collisions, falls, or drops.

    1.2 The protection covers:

    (a) For phone devices (excluding foldable devices): One (1) screen replacement and one (1) back cover replacement within 365 days from the date of purchase of the Service.

    (b) For tablets: One (1) screen replacement within 365 days from the date of purchase of the Service.

    1.3 The replacement of cracked screens or back covers covered under this Service will incur no additional charge; however, a service fee of RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes) will apply.

    2. Service Availability

    The Screen and Back Cover Protection is only applicable under the following conditions:

    2.1 The Service is applicable only to selected models and must be purchased within 3 days of the device activation date.

    2.2 The Service must be within the validity period of the Service, and the Service must not have been fully utilized.

    2.3 There must be no circumstances listed in Section 3 and Section 4 that fall outside the guaranteed scope of the Service.

    2.4 The device must be purchased in Malaysia.

    3. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Screen Protection service:

    3.1 The protection covers internal or external cracks, damaged, or broken screen due to accidental collision, falling or dropping only.

    3.2 Screen replacements covered under the Screen Protection will be free of charge on the spare parts, but a service fee will be charged (RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes)).

    3.3 Please note that this Screen Protection can only be claimed once per device.

    3.4 Additional fees or charges may be imposed for other parts damaged as diagnosed by the HONOR Authorised Service Center. Kindly refer to the HONOR Spare Parts Price list for details on spare parts pricing. If you require any repair assistance, please contact or visit any HONOR Authorised Service Center.

    3.5 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Screen Protection.

    (a) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery leakage, or commercial usage;

    (b) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;

    (c) Damage that does not occur within the Screen Protection period; and/or

    (d) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

    4. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Back Cover Protection service:

    4.1 The protection covers internal or external cracks, damaged, or broken back covers due to accidental collision, falling, or dropping only for phone devices.

    4.2 Back cover crack replacements covered under the Back Cover Protection will be free of charge on the spare parts, but a service fee will be charged (RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes)).

    4.3 Please note that this Back Cover Protection can only be claimed once per phone device.

    4.4 Additional fees may be charged for other parts damaged as diagnosed by the HONOR Authorised Service Center. Kindly refer to the HONOR Spare Parts Price list for details on spare parts pricing. If you require any repair assistance, please contact or visit any HONOR Authorised Service Center.

    4.5 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Back Cover Protection.

    (a) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery leakage, or commercial usage;

    (b) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;

    (c) Damage that does not occur within the Back Cover Protection period; and/or

    (d) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

    5. Transfer or Revocation

    5.1 The Service is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    5.2 If you replace your device due to quality failure under HONOR's warranty policy and have not used the Service, the remaining period of the Service will transfer to the new device.

    5.3 If the mainboard is replaced under warranty and the Service has not been used, the remaining period of the Service will transfer to the new mainboard.

    6. Service Termination

    6.1 The Screen and Back Cover Protection service will automatically terminate under the following conditions:

    (a) Your Screen and Back Cover Protection service has expired;

    (b) Your phone device has utilized the one (1) screen replacement and one (1) back cover replacement provided under the Service;

    (c) Your tablet has utilized the one (1) screen replacement provided under the Service; and/or

    (d) If it is determined by an engineer of the HONOR Authorised Service Center that your device has been privately dismantled or unauthorised repairs have been made;

    6.2 If we find that you have deliberately damaged the product to achieve fraudulent purposes, we have the right to terminate the Service and refuse to provide Screen and Back Cover Protection service without any responsibility. At the same time, we reserve the right to pursue legal liabilities.

    7. Liability Limitations

    7.1 Where permitted by law, HONOR is not responsible for any of the following situations:

    (a) Losses of your records or data;

    (b) All indirect losses caused by product damage (including but not limited to personal injury, loss of income or profit, loss of reputation, loss of spirit, loss of failure time, and any other indirect or incidental losses such as loss of work time) shall not be liable for any other indirect or incidental losses.

    7.2 You agree that we will only provide you with legal products and services on the basis of "as is" and "as available", and you are responsible for using this product at your own risk. If you are a minor, you should also obtain the consent of your guardian. Unless otherwise expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, HONOR Malaysia does not make any implied statement or guarantee for this service (except as otherwise provided by law).

    7.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities or claims including reasonable attorney's fees, initiated/made by any third party or penalty imposed due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions or any document(s) incorporated by reference, your misuse of the Service or your violation of any law, rules, regulations or the rights of a third party.

    7.4 To the fullest extent permissible by laws, you agree to discharge and release HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to the Service.

    8. Customer Consent for Personal Data Use

    By providing personal data, customers consent to its use by HONOR for service-related purposes in compliance with applicable data protection laws. This includes promotional activities and administrative matters related to the service.

    9. Confirmation of Personal Data Provision

    By providing personal data, the Customer(s) confirm that:

    9.1 they agree and consent to the collection, processing, and transfer of their personal data for the purposes of the provision of the Service, in accordance with applicable Personal Data Protection laws and regulations; and

    9.2 they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Statement About HONOR Platform and Privacy and HONOR’s Marketing Activities Privacy Statement. The Customer(s) further agree that HONOR and/or its agents and/or third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email, or other methods in connection with this Service.

    10. Recycling of the Replaced Malfunction Spare Parts

    You acknowledge and agree that the property rights of faulty parts replaced during repairs using this service belong to us, and we will recycle them through HONOR Authorised Service Centers.

    11. Dispute Resolution

    If there is a dispute during the implementation of the terms of these Terms and Conditions, the parties to the dispute can resolve it through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached after negotiation, all parties to the dispute shall apply to the court in Malaysia to resolve it through litigation according to Malaysia law.
