    My device produces no sound when playing a video

    Perform the following to troubleshoot:

    1. Check whether the video player is working correctly

    Play another video to check whether the issue lies with the video player. If the issue persists, reinstall the video player and try again.

    2. Check the video file format

    A video may be muted if the video player does not support the video format. Try playing the video in another video player.

    3. Check whether your device is connected to an external device, such as a Bluetooth headset

    Disconnect your device from any external device, then try again.

    4. Check the media volume settings in the video player

    Press the Volume up button to increase the media volume.

    5. Check whether the video file is damaged

    Try playing the video on another device. If the video cannot be played on that device, the video file may be damaged.

    6. Restart the device

    Restart your device to close apps that do not work properly, then try to play the video again.

    7. If the issue persists

    Your device's hardware may be faulty. back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Honor Customer Service Center for assistance.
