HONOR Care Service Terms and Conditions

1. HONOR Care, including the Extended Warranty (“Extended Warranty”), Worry-Free Device Quality (“Worry-Free Device Quality”), Screen Crack Protection (“Screen Crack Protection”), Screen Protection (“Screen Protection”), Back Cover Protection (“Back Cover Protection”), Half Price Screen Replacement (“Half Price Screen Replacement”), One to One Replacement (“One to One Replacement”), Battery Replacement (“Battery Replacement”), Accidental Damage Protection (“Accidental Damage Protection”), and Worry-Free Crack Protection (“Worry-Free Crack Protection” collectively, the “Service”), are provided by HONOR Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HONOR”).
2. As a service, customers can receive the HONOR Care as a free gift by purchasing a brand-new device (applicable models only) or by directly purchasing the service from the HONOR official channels.
3. To be eligible for the Service, customers are required to fulfil all the criteria below (“Customers”):
4. Customers must provide valid proof of purchase of the Applicable Model(s) or Eligible Device(s) for verification purposes. Eligibility for redeeming or purchasing the Service is contingent upon submission of valid proof of purchase and relevant details.

14. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Liquid Damage Protection service:
14.1 The Liquid Damage Protection is applicable only to the above listed Applicable Models and shall be valid solely during the designated coverage period.
14.2 The Liquid Damage Protection covers accidental damage caused by water or other liquids that results in damage to the mainboard, display, or internal components.
14.3 This Liquid Damage Protection can only be claimed once per device throughout the coverage period.
14.4 Please note: In the event that the device has experienced or is found to have liquid ingress, both the standard and extended warranty shall be automatically voided with immediate effect.
14.4 Repairs covered under the Liquid Damage Protection will be free of charge for spare parts, but a labor fee will be charged (RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes)).
14.5 Additional fees or charges may be imposed for damage to components or parts not covered under this Service, as diagnosed by HONOR's Authorized Service Center. Kindly refer to the HONOR Spare Parts Price list for details on spare parts pricing. If you require any repair assistance, please contact, or visit any HONOR's Authorized Service Center
14.6 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Liquid Damage Protection:
(a) Damage caused by theft, sand, corrosion, battery leakage, or commercial usage;
(b) Liquid ingress caused by sea water, salt water, hot water, boiling water, or other corrosive liquids;
(c) Any prior disassembly or repair which may, to varying degrees, compromise the device’s water resistance. Therefore, liquid ingress occurring after any such repair shall be excluded from the Liquid Damage Protection. Please avoid exposing the device to any liquids following any repair service.
(d) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;
(e) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers; and/or
(f) Damage that does not occur within the Liquid Damage Protection coverage period.
15. The Service is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the Customers successfully replaced the device, the replacement device will inherit the remaining period of the extended warranty purchased.
16. Customers agree and provide consent to HONOR to the use of any personal data as provided by the Customers for the purposes of the providing of the Service in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HONOR for lawful purpose directly related to the Service, including but not limited to promotional events, advertising, marketing, and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and provision of the Service by HONOR.
17. By providing the personal data, Customers confirm that they had read, understood, and agreed to be bound by HONOR's Privacy Policy, stated at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-privacy-notice/. Customers further agree that HONOR and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email, or other methods in connection with the Service.
18. By redeeming or purchasing the Service, Customers agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions hereinafter provided. HONOR's decisions shall be final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HONOR reserves the rights to add, amend, or vary these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice to the Customer.
19. To the fullest extent permissible by laws, Customers agree to discharge and release HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of action at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to the Service.
20. The Service and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
