《Policy Terms and Conditions of HONOR Care- Screen Protection Service》

HONOR Care Screen protection Service (hereinafter referred to as "the service") is a service product provided by HONOR TECHNOLOGIES AFRICA (LTD)PTY., (hereinafter referred to as "HONOR" or "we"). This agreement is an effective contract between you and us regarding the HONOR screen protection Service. Please read carefully and understand this service agreement. This agreement constitutes a legal document that is binding on both parties. Your use of this service means that you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree to this agreement, please stop the operation or purchase, but you will not be able to enjoy the benefit of this service product.

1. Service Content

1. After the terminal product obtains the HONOR Care Screen protection Service Rights (gifted), under normal use, if the screen is damaged or broken due to accidental collision, accidental fall, or accidental extrusion, you can enjoy a one-time screen insurance up to the value of R1999.99 excluding VAT and service fees.

2. One device can only redeem HONOR Care Screen protection Service once.

3. If the parts other than the screen are damaged at the same time, the damage is not within the free repair scope of this service.

4. If damage to the parts other than the screen affects the screen of the terminal product separately and needs to be repaired, the customer must first pay for the damaged parts other than the screen.

2. Service availability

1. The terminal product is within the service validity period. The service valid period starts from the date customer purchased the device (subject to the official invoice) and ends naturally at 24:00 on the day when the period expires.

2. The screen is damaged or cracked due to accidental reasons (falling, collision, squeezing), resulting in an unusable state.

3. The service has not been used within the valid period.

4. There are no circumstances listed in the fourth part of this agreement that do not belong to the scope of the service product guarantee.

5. This service can only be used in South African area with terminal device purchased in South African area.

3. Use of the service

1. On-site repair

On the premise that the terminal product meets the availability of this service, customers can go to any HONOR Authorized service center nationwide to use this service.

2. Postal repair

On the premise that the terminal product meets the availability of this service, customers can call the HONOR Service Hotline 0807777715 to apply for the postal repair service and send the terminal device to the repair center.

3. A service fee is required when using this product for repair.

4. HONOR Screen Damage Protection Service Policy Does Not Cover

1. Any modification, disassembly, repair without the authorization of HONOR;

2. The nameplate and serial number of the device are missing, damaged or altered, and it is impossible to judge whether it belongs to the guaranteed product;

3. Loss of digital accessories and consumables;

4. Losses caused by deliberate actions;

5. Appearance wear, scratches and other losses that do not affect normal use;

6. Failure or damage caused by force majeure (such as earthquakes, fires, tsunamis, radioactive pollution, lightning strikes, etc.) or war, hostilities, military actions, armed conflicts, strikes, riots, riots, terrorist activities, and natural disasters.

7. Non-hardware loss such as data loss;

8. Exceeding the guarantee service period time limit;

9. The damaged terminal product is regarded as lost or stolen;

10. Loss caused by falling from a height of more than 20 meters and car crushing;

11. Missing parts of the product host;

12. System and software problems such as self-flashing, upgrades, and software poisoning cause functional failure of the device;

13. The cost of sending the device to repair organizations other than the HONOR Authorized Service Center for repair;

14. Loss caused by value reduction after repairing.

5. Transfer or Revocation

1. You understand that this service is a virtual product. Except for returning or replacing terminal products in accordance with the product warranty policy, this service product cannot be withdrawn, cancelled or terminated. At the same time, this service product needs to be bound to the terminal product you purchased and cannot be transferred in any way.

2. If a terminal product has a quality failure, and you apply for a return according to the product warranty policy and have not used the HONOR Care Screen protection Service, we will not able to refund you fee since it is redeemed as a gift only.

3. If the terminal product has a quality failure, and you apply for a replacement/replacement of the mainboard according to the product warranty policy and have not used this service, then:

   (1)If a new device is replaced within 14days of purchase, this service will be transferred to the new product,

   (2)If the mainboard is replaced over the 7th of the device purchasing time, this service will be transferred to the product corresponding to the new serial number, and you can continue to enjoy the remaining time of this service.

6. Liability exemption

Under permitted by law, HONOR is not responsible for any of the following situations:

  (1)Losses of your records or data;

  (2)All the indirect losses caused by product damage (including but not limited to personal injury, loss of income or profit, loss of reputation , loss of spirit, loss of failure time, and any other indirect or incidental losses such as loss of work time) shall not be liable for any other indirect or incidental losses.

You agree that we will only provide you with legal products and services on the basis of "as is" and "as available", and you are responsible for using this product at your own risk. If you are a minor, you should also obtain the consent of your guardian. Unless otherwise expressly provided in this agreement, HONOR TECHNOLOGIES AFRICA (LTD)PTY., does not make any implied statement or guarantee for this service (except as otherwise provided by law).

7. Service termination

1. In one of the following situations, this HONOR Care Screen protection Service will naturally terminate:

  (1)The expiration of the effective date agreed in the terms of service;

  (2)HONOR Care Screen protection Service has been used;

  (3)If being tested by the engineer of HONOR Authorized Service Center, your terminal product has been repaired by a customer service center not authorized by HONOR, that is considered as a private dismantling or private repair;

2. If we find that you have deliberately damaged the product to achieve fraudulent purposes, we have the right to terminate this agreement at any time and refuse to provide the HONOR Care Screen protection Service without any responsibility. At the same time, we reserve the right to pursue legal liabilities.

8. Recycling of the replaced malfunction spare parts

You know and agree that the property rights of faulty parts replaced after repairs using this service belong to HONOR TECHNOLOGIES AFRICA (LTD)PTY., and we will recycle them through HONOR Authorized Service Center.

9. Dispute Resolution

If there is a dispute during the implementation of the terms of this agreement, the parties to the dispute can resolve it through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached after negotiation, all parties to the dispute shall apply to the Local court to resolve it through litigation according to South African law.
