Conditions of Participation
for “Unfold HONOR Magic V2 Free Use for 1 Year”

1. Scope of Application

1.1 By taking part in the competition, the participant accepts these conditions.

1.2 Participants shall comply with the Honor Platform Terms of use (https://agreement.itsec.honor.com/asm/agrFile/getHtmlFile?agrNo=1025&country=gb&branchId=0&langCode=en-gb) for user submissions and/or uploads. Submissions that violate the applicable terms of use or guidelines shall be disqualified.

2. Organizer

2.1 The organizer of the competition is Honor Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. (herein: “Organizer”).

2.2 The activity is held on HiHONOR UK [https://www.honor.com/uk/shop/honor-magic-v2]. In case of any questions, suggestions or complaints relating to the competition, please contact it.support@hihonor.com.

3. Eligibility for Participation

3.1 The competition is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are (1) aged 18 years or over; and (2) who are resident in the United Kingdom.

3.2 The Organizer’s employees, their immediate family members, and employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in creating or implementing the competition, are excluded from participation.

3.3 Participation is only possible on one’s own behalf and joint submissions are not allowed. There is a restriction on one entry per person per competition. In the event of multiple posts being received from the same account, the first entry only will be accepted.

4. Participation

4.1 Participation in the competition is free of charges and fees and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services.

4.2 The competition starts on December,18th 2023. The deadline for entries is January, 26th , 2024 (“Entry Period”). Submissions received outside of the Entry Period will not be considered.

4.3 During the Entry Period, the competition is open to all participants who enter the page to answer 5 questions and subscribe HONOR newsletter with their email address. Participants need to subscribe here: (https://www.honor.com/uk/shop/honor-magic-v2) to have a chance to free use HONOR Magic V2 for 1 year.

4.4 Please note that you should only fill the form embedded the competition post as described above. Any entry in any other platform shall not be qualified for the competition.

4.5 Answers containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, offensive, or any other comparably unsuitable material will be disqualified and withdrawn from the competition.

4.6 The Organizer accepts no responsibility for any inability to participate or collect the prizes for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries to the prize draw or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant’s details.

4.7 The Organizer reserves the right to exclude a participant who violates these Conditions of Participation, tampers with the competition, or makes false representations or statements that violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights. If a participant is excluded, prizes and benefits may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In this case, a new winner may be determined pursuant to the procedure in section 5.2.

5. Prize, determination, and notification of winner

5.1 The prize is the right to free use an HONOR Magic V2 for 1 year. The number of winners will be 6 and will be chosen by HONOR official Team based on a lucky draw. All other participants will receive a voucher to use on HiHONOR.UK to purchase HONOR Magic V2 during the period of 26 January 2024 to 24 February 2024.

5.2 The winners will be notified via email within 48 hours after Entry Period and hereby give his/her consent to the disclosure of a part of his/her email address in the club. The winners will be announced on the campaign page for one month.Winners must reply the winning notification email to confirm within 72 hours after receiving the email. If the winner fails to accept his/her prize within this period, his/her prize shall be forfeited.

5.3 The device will be sent by the Organizer via post to an address provided by the winner which must be within the territory of United Kingdom (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man). The winner should sign a sample receipt after receiving the device and send it back to the Organizer.

5.4 The winner is expected to fulfil a few responsibilities: 1.Test the device for 1 year from February 1, 2024 to February 1 ,2025. 2. Send regular reports on problems encountered during testing via a dedicated application (which will be communicated to the winners). 3. Create content in written and/or video form according to HONOR’s expectations. 4. HONOR CLUB and Facebook will be the main channels we ask you to use to create and share content.

5.5 The winner will be responsible for any taxes or charges incurred in claiming the prize.

5.6 Prize is subject to availability and the Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control make it necessary to do so.

5.7 Compensation of the prize in cash, its exchange, or its transfer to another person is excluded.

6. The price

Six (6) people will be selected from all valid entries to become testers of the new HONOR Magic V2 foldable mobile phone (hereinafter the “Product”) for 1 year from February 1, 2024 to February 1, 2025.

The Six (6) selected winners will receive the Product on loan and will be required to return it to the Organizing Company by February 10, 2025 at the latest. To do this, the Organizing Company will contact the winner before this date to inform them of how to return the Product.

By participating in the Competition, Participants agree, in the event of being selected as a winner, to:

• agree to test the Product for the period of 1 year from receipt of the Product until February 1, 2024;

• send regular reports on problems encountered during testing via a dedicated application (which will be communicated to the winners); the comments received will contribute to the improvement of the device which will be presented in Europe at the beginning of 2024;

• create content in written and/or video form on HONOR Club and on Facebook regarding your experience as a tester of the Product;

The Product will be loaned to the winners for a limited period and must be returned to the Organizing Company at no cost to the winner by February 10, 2025 at the latest. In the event of non-receipt of the Product by the Organizing Company, it reserves the right to claim the value of the Product.

The costs incurred for the use of the Product during the test remain the responsibility of the winner.

Likewise, the Price cannot be the subject of compensation requests.

The Product is non-marketable and cannot be assigned or transferred to one or more third parties or exchanged for money.

The Organizing Company reserves the right, in the event of the occurrence of an event beyond its control, in particular linked to its suppliers or unforeseeable circumstances, to replace the announced prize with another prize of equivalent value. Participants will be kept informed of any changes.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 The participant warrants that each of his/her submitted entry is free of any infringement of third-party rights), and that the participant has the right to grant a license to the Organizer pursuant to section 6.3.

7.2 The participant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organizer (including its affiliate, officers, employees, and agents) against any claim by any third party due to a breach of section 6.1.

7.3 By submitting entries to this competition, entrants accept that the organizer has the right to use their submissions for campaigns and product and brand marketing in []for two years for free, including but not limited to using submissions in network media, print media, printings, exhibitions, retail stores, roadshows, digital content, out-of-home media, and other marketing activities.

8. Data Protection

By submitting an entry, participants will provide their personal information which will be used and disclosed by the Organizer and its authorized agents for the purposes of competition administration and prize fulfillment. 9. Miscellaneous

9.1 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or technical) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any stage but will endeavor to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.9.2 If any provision of these Conditions of Participation is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.9.3 All legal relationships arising because of or in connection with these terms and conditions and the competition are governed by English and Welsh law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
