Problem
The update is slow on HONOR Watch 4.
Solution
Please ensure that the watch is sufficiently charged before the update (battery > 50%). If the update is slow, troubleshoot in the following ways:
- If you use an iPhone, Bluetooth transmission may take a longer time when the update package is larger than 10 MB. You can use an Android phone to complete the watch update and then reconnect to your iPhone to use it.
- It would be better to update your watch at night and keep the charger connected during the update.
- Package download is slow (The download progress is displayed on HONOR Health and the watch)
Make sure the phone’s network connection (3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi) is normal and try again.
- Bluetooth transmission is slow (The transmission progress is displayed on HONOR Health and the watch)
The update time depends on the version and Bluetooth transmission rate. In some cases, it may take a long time to update the watch. Please wait patiently and do not operate the watch and the phone during the update.
- Package installation is slow (The watch shows an upward arrow or spinning circle)
After the package is downloaded and transferred from HONOR Health, the watch needs to unzip and install the package. At this time, HONOR Health will show that Bluetooth is disconnected, and the watch will display an update animation (an upward arrow or spinning circle). Please wait patiently. After the package is installed, the watch will restart and reconnect to the phone automatically. It would be better to update your watch at night and keep the charger connected during the update. You can check whether it is successful in the morning.
