The auto-update feature of HONOR App Market has been disabled, but apps are still updated automatically

The first time you start HONOR App Market, it will ask you to "Enable auto-update on HONOR App Market". If you have turned off the option, but apps are still updated automatically, the following actions may have caused the auto-update feature to be turned back on:

1. If you have restored factory settings on your phone or deleted the data cache of HONOR App Market, auto-update will be automatically turned on when you restart HONOR App Market.

2. After auto-update is turned off, every once in a while, when you update apps manually, download apps, or receive update messages when starting apps, a pop-up window will show up to ask you if you want to turn on auto-update. Thus, you may have re-enabled it unintentionally.

Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

1. Go to App Market > my > Settings > Automatically update apps > Off.

2. If you have installed other app stores such as Google Play, please check whether auto-update is enabled on them as well.
