Use the standard HONOR SIM-eject tool
Insert the standard HONOR SIM-eject tool vertically into the SIM tray hole (which is on or next to the SIM tray), push in with a little force until the tray pops open, and then take the SIM tray out. Make sure not to mistake the microphone hole for the SIM tray hole.
If the SIM tray won't pop open when using the standard HONOR SIM-eject tool
- Make sure not to mistake the microphone hole for the SIM tray hole. However, thanks to the prevention design, no damage will be done to the microphone hole if you ever insert the SIM-eject tool into it.
- Apply extra force when inserting the SIM-eject tool into the SIM tray hole.
- If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.
Note: Power off your device before removing the SIM tray.
To prevent damage to your phone, do not insert a toothpick or other objects that could break easily into the SIM tray hole. If you can't find your standard HONOR SIM-eject tool, it is recommended that you purchase one from an HONOR Authorized Service Center.
