HONOR Beta Experiencers Program Terms and Conditions

Welcome and thank you for your interest in participating in the HONOR Beta Experiencers Program (“Program”).

Your participation means a lot to us! By participating in this Program, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and stand a chance to win one (1) unit of the HONOR smartphone.

Program Details:

• Registration Period: 18th August 2025 – 24th August 2025 (Malaysian Standard Time)

• Program Period: September 2025 – Tentatively December 2025

• Number of HONOR Experiencers: 10 Experiencers(“Experiencers”) will be selected by Honor Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. based on the terms and conditions set forth below.

• Mission: The Experiencers are encouraged to use the smartphone as their primary phone and as often as possible throughout the Program Period.

• Goal: Experiencers are encouraged to provide feedback regarding their experience with the device as much as possible by raising tickets. By providing feedback, you will stand a chance to win the new HONOR smartphone!

Prizes:

• 1 unit x HONOR Smartphone each for the TOP 70% of Experiencers

How to Win the Prize:

• Experiencers can provide feedback on the pre-release software version about the performance, functionality, and user experience by raising tickets through the HONOR Beta app.

• Each ticket submission earns 0.5 point. Depending on the importance of the issue reported, there may be opportunities for additional points.

• Experiencers will be ranked by the total points earned in this Program. The TOP 70% of the Experiencers with at least 15 valid beta tickets submitted will win the prize.

• Additional Touch ‘n Go rewards will be given for completing optional social media tasks, as guided by HONOR Marketing team.

• HONOR reserves the right for final interpretation of these terms and conditions. (Detailed training on how to use the app will be provided later.)

* HONOR reserves the right to change the end date of the program depending on the performance of the Experiencers.

We will contact all shortlisted participants who are selected as Experiencers via WhatsApp by 3rd September 2025.

Further Terms & Conditions

HONOR Beta Experiencers Program is organized by Honor Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202101003804 (1404103-P)) (hereinafter referred to as “HONOR” or “HONOR Malaysia”).

Selection of Experiencers:

HONOR will select ten (10) Experiencers from all eligible entries based on the quality of feedback and effort demonstrated in their responses submitted via the Recruitment Page.

By participating in this Program, the selected Experiencers agree to indemnify and hold HONOR and the HONOR Group of Companies, including their officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in title, employees, agents, and representatives, harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liability, expenses (including legal fees), suffered or incurred due to or arising from this Program or the Experiencer's participation therein.

HONOR will contact the ten (10) selected Experiencers via WhatsApp. Experiencers hereby consent to the disclosure of their names and necessary details on HONOR's social media channels or other platforms as HONOR deems fit.

Selected Experiencers must respond and accept the participation opportunity within 48 hours of receiving notification. Failure to accept within this period will result in forfeiture of the opportunity, and a new participant will be selected from remaining eligible entries.

Selected Experiencers are required to sign the Beta Testing Agreement before receiving the device.

HONOR will contact the selected Experiencers who are granted of the Prize (“Winners”) in this Program via WhatsApp. By participating in the Program, winners expressly consent to the disclosure of their name and necessary details on HONOR’s social media channels or other platforms as HONOR deems fit.

Selected Experiencers are obligated to cooperate with HONOR Malaysia in recording videos or sharing content on social platforms.

This Program is open to all residents of Malaysia, at least 18 years old as of 18th August 2025 with a valid National Registration Identification Card (NRIC) number at the time of participation of the Program.

HONOR Malaysia has full rights to use and publish any and all photos and materials submitted in the Program without any prior notice to the relevant Experiencers and the Experiencers shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on any such materials used by HONOR.

HONOR, its employees, promoters, program organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the Experiencers or by any person in connection with the program except for product liability.

The participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the HONOR’s Marketing Activities Privacy Statement Privacy Policy and provide consent to HONOR to the use of any personal data as provided by the participants for the purpose of participation in this program in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HONOR for lawful purpose directly related to the running of this program including but not limited to the purposes of User Experience enhancement, promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organizing of this Program.

Prizes and Winner Announcement:

Winner(s) may be required to attend interviews or participate in a photo taking session during the issuance of the Prizes. Any photographs or recordings captured during the interview or session may be used by HONOR for commercial, advertising, or promotional purposes without any prior notice to the relevant Experiencers.

Only entries that do not contravene any laws and do not feature religious, sexual, violent, pornographic content or drugs will be included in the competition.

Prizes shown on any communication materials may defer in terms of color, specifications, or design.

Winners shall be responsible for all costs in connection with the collection, delivery of his/her prize, including but not limited to legal cost, stamp duties, registration and transfer fees, taxes, insurance, spending money and related expenses (such as meals or personal expenses, upgrades, etc.) or fees.

Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable in any form for whatever reason. Winners are solely responsible for the collection of their prizes.

In the event any prizes are being awarded to the experiencer having provided false or mistaken identity or information, HONOR shall have the right to revoke the experiencer’s eligibility for the said prizes.

All prize images are for reference only. Prizes shown and/or represented for the running of this Program shall be subjected to availability. Prizes given are non-refundable and not covered under any warranty.

Winner(s) shall not substitute any prizes won or exchange the said Prizes for money. HONOR reserves all rights in its sole discretion to substitute any prizes (or prize component, if applicable) with one of equal or greater value. HONOR is responsible only for the delivery of the Prizes and is not responsible for the condition and fitness of the said Prizes. Any imposition of taxes, fees, and any other costs associated with the acceptance and use of the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s).

General Terms and Conditions for All Participants:

By participating in the Program, the Experiencers agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this Program and HONOR’s decisions are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HONOR reserves the right to the final and ultimate interpretation of this Program.

By entering your email address, participants agree to receive the latest offers and information on HONOR products, events, and services from HONOR.

By entering, participants also agree to provide their personal information which will be used and disclosed by HONOR and its authorized agents for the purposes of Program administration and prize fulfilment. Personal information collected by HONOR is subject to the HONOR’s Privacy Statement. Participants can unsubscribe at any time after the Program has ended.

In accepting the Prizes, the winner(s) agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Program. The winners agree to grant HONOR a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs, voice, biographical information and/or statements, at any time or times, in all media types worldwide for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

HONOR assumes no responsibility for late entries due to any reasons including, but not limited to, network transmission failure.

HONOR shall not be responsible for any losses or damages directly or indirectly incurred by any party including the participants in connection or arising from acts or omissions or in any way related to this Program.

The participant agrees to discharge and release HONOR from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this Program or to the participant’s entry in the Program.

The participant further agrees to discharge and release any third party which is related to and connected with this Program, including Facebook, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this Program or to the experiencer’s entry in the Program.

Without prejudice to the foregoing:- (i) save where otherwise prohibited by law, in no event shall HONOR be liable to any party including the Program for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, howsoever remote even if such losses were foreseeable or if HONOR were advised of the possibility of such damages; and (ii) if HONOR is adjudicated by a local court of competent jurisdiction to be liable for any losses or damages arising out of or is in any way connected to this Program, HONOR’s liability shall in no event exceed RM1000.00.

By entering this Program, the Experiencers agree to indemnify and hold HONOR and the HONOR Group of Companies, their officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in title, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (including any legal fees), suffered or incurred by HONOR due to or in any way arising from this Program or the participant’s entry in the Program.

If the Experiencers are discovered to be using or have used improper means to participate in this Program, HONOR reserves the right to cancel the eligibility without notice including without hesitation, the commencement of legal proceedings under the full extent of the applicable laws.

The Experiencers must notify HONOR of any abnormalities or damages to the given phone by sharing photos of the abnormalities or damages of the given phone. HONOR reserves the right to require the Experiencers to compensate for all losses.

This Program and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.

HONOR reserves all the rights to modify or amend the Terms and Conditions of this Program at any time without any prior notice.
