How to stop background applications on HONOR phones
To prevent the background applications running on HONOR phones is necessary for the phone battery saving. Many apps which are running in the background are often syncing, providing location data or otherwise doing what they were designed to do. They will make your phone become slower and the battery life is shorter than normal use since the apps will consume more battery power and RAM than it should.
If you are using HONOR phone, we would like to forbidden some apps to be launched by other apps which may cause your phone to slow down and consume more power. Take HONOR 10 as an example, we will show you how to stop background applications.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Battery.
3. Click App launch: manage app launches and background running to save power.
4. Go to App launch, you can choose to manage batch manually.
There, you have three options, you can choose which apps you’d like them to be launched in the background. It all depends on your needs.
Generally, we suggest that you do not choose the above three options since they will consume your phone’s battery life as well as make your phone slower.
