A paired Bluetooth device does not automatically reconnect to the phone/tablet

A paired Bluetooth device does not automatically reconnect to the phone/tablet

Bluetooth devices such as earphones and speakers (excluding those on car kits) do not automatically reconnect to your HONOR phone/tablet.

If your Bluetooth device is outside of the effective Bluetooth range of you phone/tablet, it will disconnect and will not be in a pairing state. If the Bluetooth device does not automatically reconnect when you return within the effective Bluetooth connection range, perform the following:

    1. Ensure that your phone/tablet and the Bluetooth device are within the effective Bluetooth range (10 meters).
    2. Re-enable Bluetooth on your phone/tablet and the Bluetooth device, and check whether this resolves the issue.
    3. Please turn on Automatically connect Bluetooth. After connecting to this device, open the Bluetooth screen in Settings, tap the icon to the right of the corresponding device you need to change to turn on or off the Automatically connect Bluetooth.
    4. If the issue is not resolved, swipe down from the status bar on your phone/tablet to show the shortcuts menu, then touch and hold Bluetooth to access the Bluetooth settings screen. Unpair the Bluetooth device from your phone/tablet, then pair and connect them again.

    1. Use high-quality Bluetooth devices produced by well-known brands.
    2. If you are using Sony WI-C300 Wireless In-Ear Headphones, you need to touch the name corresponding to your headphones on the Bluetooth settings screen to manually reconnect to your phone/tablet.

Bluetooth car kits do not automatically reconnect to your phone/tablet, or the reconnection fails.

This is due to the Bluetooth car kit. Some Bluetooth car kits do not support automatic reconnection.

    1. You can manually set up a Bluetooth connection on your phone/tablet. To do this, swipe down from the status bar on your phone/tablet to show the shortcuts menu, then touch and hold Bluetooth to access the Bluetooth settings screen. In the Paired devices list, find the name corresponding to your car kit, and reconnect to it.
    2. You can manually set up a Bluetooth connection on your car kit. To do this, find the Bluetooth device name corresponding to your phone/tablet on the Bluetooth car kit, and reconnect them.
    3. If the issue is not resolved, swipe down from the status bar on your phone/tablet to show the shortcuts menu, then touch and hold Bluetooth to access the Bluetooth settings screen. Unpair the car kit from your phone/tablet, then pair and connect them again.
