UAE — Chase Your Light Competition

Promoter: HONOR MOBILE ELECTRONICS TRADING LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“HONOR”).

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Chase Your Light Competition (“Competition”) for residents of the United Arab Emirates. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Competition is open exclusively to legal residents of the United Arab Emirates aged 18 years and above as of the Competition closing date.

1.2 Employees, contractors, suppliers, agencies, or representatives of HONOR, HIPA, or any related partners, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to win the grand prize.

1.3 Participation is free of charge. No purchase is necessary.

2. Competition Period

2.1 The Competition runs in the UAE from 10 December 2025 at 18:00 PM until 10 January 2026 at 11:59 PM UAE local time.

2.2 Entries submitted after the closing time will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

To participate, entrants must complete all of the following requirements:

3.1 Capture a night photograph using any HONOR smartphone.

3.2 Add the official HONOR watermark to the image – available in phone camera settings.

3.3 Post the image publicly on Instagram, Facebook, X, or TikTok.

3.4 Tag the official @honorarabia, @hipaae social media page in the post.

3.5 Use the hashtag #ByHONOR.

3.6 Include a caption or description narrating the story behind the shot.

3.7 Only posts from public accounts will be accepted. Private accounts cannot be viewed or judged.

3.8 Each post constitutes one entry. Participants may submit multiple posts; however, duplicate content or reposts will not be considered.

4. Content Requirements

4.1 Entries must be original photographs captured by the participant using an HONOR device.

4.2 AI-generated images, AI composites, or images created using non-HONOR devices are strictly prohibited.

4.3 Any form of plagiarism, copying, or use of another person’s content will lead to immediate disqualification and possible legal action.

4.4 Entries must not contain offensive, unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or inappropriate content.

4.5 Participants must ensure that individuals identifiable in the photograph have provided consent for their image to be used.

5. Selection, Judging & Winners

Total Value: AED 32,948

5.1 Weekly Winners — Picture of the Week

5.1.1 HONOR Arabia will select one weekly winner throughout the Competition period – up to three (3) winners.

5.1.2 Weekly winners will receive a new HONOR Magic 8 Pro device.

5.1.3 Weekly winners will be selected by the HONOR Arabia team based on creativity, adherence to theme, and storytelling.

5.2 Grand Prize Winner (UAE)

5.2.1 There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner for the UAE.

5.2.2 The Grand Prize winner will be selected by an independent jury from HIPA, following the official Judges’ Criteria Document.

5.2.3 The Grand Prize includes:

• A 4-nights fully funded holiday for two (2) to chase the Northern Lights in Finland – including accommodation, flight, tour and travel insurance.

• Prize value: up to AED 21,998.

• Prize will be issued as a voucher, redeemable within 1 year from issue date.

• Visa fees and visa applications are not included.

5.3 Honorable Mentions

5.3.1 HIPA will select three (3) Honorable Mention winners from UAE entries.

5.3.2 Each Honorable Mention winner will receive a 3-night 5-star staycation in the UAE, with a maximum value of AED3,650 per winner.

5.4 Announcement Dates

5.4.1 The Grand Prize Winner and Honorable Mention Winners for the UAE will be officially announced on HONOR Arabia’s Instagram, Facebook and X channels on:

• 17 January 2026.

5.4.2 Weekly winners will be announced weekly throughout the Competition period via HONOR Arabia’s Instagram, Facebook and X channels.

6. Winner Notification

6.1 Winners will be contacted through direct message (DM) on the platform used for entry and may also be contacted via email.

6.2 Winners must complete a verification process, which may include identity confirmation, proof of residence, and proof that the image was captured on an HONOR device.

6.3 If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, HONOR reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

7. Rights & Usage

7.1 Participants retain full copyright ownership of their images.

7.2 By entering, participants grant HONOR a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for 3 years from the end of the Competition to use submitted entries for:

• Competition judging
• Social media promotion
• Online/offline marketing
• Exhibitions & displays
• Press and PR
• Competition-related materials

7.3 Credit will be provided wherever possible. HONOR will correct any oversight upon notification.

8. Disqualification & Fraud

8.1 HONOR reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

• Does not meet participation requirements
• Violates intellectual property rights
• Contains inappropriate or unlawful content
• Shows evidence of manipulation, cheating, or automated engagement
• Was captured on a non-HONOR device

8.2 Participants who engage in plagiarism or fraudulent behavior may be permanently banned from all future HONOR competitions.

9. Liability & Indemnity

9.1 HONOR is not responsible for technical issues, posting errors, platform outages, or any issues beyond its control.

9.2 Participants agree to indemnify HONOR for any claims arising from their submitted content.

9.3 HONOR is not liable for travel issues, visa denials, or any circumstances affecting prize redemption.

10. Privacy

10.1 Participant information will be handled in accordance with HONOR International’s Privacy Policy.

10.2 Data will be used solely for administering the Competition and verifying winners.

11. General Conditions

11.1 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

11.2 HONOR may amend the Competition or Terms & Conditions if required by law or in circumstances beyond its control.

11.3 By participating, entrants agree to appear in related publicity without additional compensation.

11.4 The Competition is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
