High Power Consumption in Tablet Standby Mode
High Power Consumption in Tablet Standby Mode |
Problem
Users experience high power consumption while the tablet is in standby mode.
Cause
- Pairing the tablet with accessories like a keyboard via Bluetooth can increase standby power consumption.
- Using wireless reverse charging for accessories (including those that support wireless charging) also contributes to higher power usage.
- Enabling the Touch to wake up feature can lead to increased power consumption when the screen is off.
- If another object is pressing against the tablet, it may continuously send input signals, preventing the screen from turning off.
- Voice and live broadcast applications may continue to run even after the screen is turned off.
Solution
- It’s advisable to disconnect Bluetooth pairing when accessories are not in use for an extended period to minimize power consumption.
- If accessories are low on power and require wireless reverse charging, connect the charger to the tablet instead, or use the accessories when they have sufficient power to avoid draining the tablet.
- You can disable it to improve battery life based on your preferences.
- Ensure the tablet is placed correctly to avoid accidental touches on the screen, power button, or volume controls.
- Manually close voice and live streaming applications after use to conserve power.
