Problem

Unable to swipe access card in HONOR Wallet.

Solutions

Campus card or card with payment function will not remind encrypted card during the simulating process, but it will result in failed card swiping. We suggest you use physical card.

First, confirm whether the access card is an encrypted card. When simulating an encrypted card, the phone will hint "The current card has encrypted content", and after simulation, it will display "This card is an encrypted card, currently only the card number is copied, which may cause failed card swiping". If your phone detects that it is an encrypted card, we suggest you use a physical access card. If it is not an encrypted card and is unable to swipe, follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

  1. Change the card swiping method, such as adjusting the card swiping position; the card swiping distance is less than 2cm; the phone has been placed more than 2 seconds.
  2. Optimize card swiping parameters: System Settings > HONOR Wallet > Card to be optimized > Card swipe parameters optimization
  3. Delete the access card and try to swipe the card after adding it again.
