Failed to hold the phone steady when shooting with the rear camera or lag when shooting moving objects, blurred photos
Failed to hold the phone steady when shooting with the rear camera or lag when shooting moving objects, blurred photos |
Problem:
Failed to hold the phone steady when shooting with the rear camera or lag when shooting moving objects, screen delay, thumbnail generation slow, blurred photos.
Thumbnail: After the user taps shooting, an image is generated at the lower-left corner, called a thumbnail. Before the thumbnail is generated, the camera is inoperable; after the thumbnail is generated, the user can tap the button to enter the Gallery and view the original image.
Cause:
Unstable phone when shooting or shooting moving objects slow down the focusing process. In addition, a certain exposure time is required to generate the photo. Movements during the exposure will be recorded, causing lag and blurred images.
Solution:
- Keep your phone steady: To get better photos, keep your phone steady and avoid shaking; check the image only after the thumbnail is generated; you may experience screen lag or delay when the photo is being generated. Please do not be concerned as it is normal.
- Shooting with the Pro mode: If you are shooting moving objects, try using the Pro mode.
- Adjust the focus option (AF) to manual focus (MF) and drag the slider to adjust the focus before shooting.
- If done correctly, turning down the exposure option (S) can reduce the problem of blurring.
Noise on the photos increases as the exposure value (S value) is reduced. Care should be taken to avoid image quality dropping by over-tuning the exposure value (S value).
- Adjust the focus option (AF) to manual focus (MF) and drag the slider to adjust the focus before shooting.
