My phone/tablet responds slowly or does not respond when I attempt to unlock it

If your phone/tablet responds slowly or does not respond to unlock attempts, perform the following:

Clear notifications from the notification bar.
1. This issue will occur if there are too many notifications in the notification panel. Please clear notifications from the notification panel.
2. Disable unwanted app notifications. To do so, open Settings, and search for and access Notifications.
Turn off the screen and unlock your phone/tablet again. Or alternatively, unlock your phone/tablet with your fingerprint.
Restart your phone/tablet.
You can also restart your phone/tablet to clear the cache, especially if you have not restarted your phone/tablet for a long time.
Check whether face unlock is enabled.
1. When face unlock is enabled and the screen is off, your phone/tablet will activate face unlock when fingerprint unlock fails. In this case, the overall unlock process may be comparatively long.
  
  This may occur only on devices that automatically initiate face unlock when fingerprint unlock fails.
2. If face unlock is not enabled, make sure your finger is aligned with the sensor and press firmly on the sensor.
Check whether PrivateSpace is enabled.
Open Settings, search for and access PrivateSpace, and check whether the Enable or Log in button is displayed. If the Enable button is displayed, PrivateSpace has not been created. If the Log in button is displayed, PrivateSpace has been created. When switching between MainSpace and PrivateSpace, it is normal for the phone/tablet to freeze for a short period of time.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Honor Customer Service Center for assistance.
