An indicator light blinks red on my phone/tablet when I take a photo of it using another camera |
Problem:
When the phone/tablet is powered on, the user takes a photo of the phone/tablet screen using a camera. While looking at the preview on the camera from a certain angle, a blinking red indicator light can be seen in the upper-right corner of the phone/tablet. This indicator cannot be seen by the naked eye.
Cause:
Your phone's/tablet's proximity sensor is located in the upper-right corner. The infrared light emitted by the sensor can be detected by a camera, but not by the naked eye. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your phone/tablet.
