how to print from android phone wirelessly?

If you are a new Android user, you may have questions about how to print from your Android phone wirelessly. No worries! Now, let us teach you the most common ways to do this. With this method, you can print from your smartphone. Just let’s see.

The Most Common Method: Google Cloud Print

As Android technology progresses, so does your ability to get everything done right from your Android phone. Google has designed a cloud printing app that works with your printer connected either to your wireless network.

Google Cloud Print is a Google service which can be used in a couple of ways. If you have a compatible printer, you’ll find that it’s possible to print directly from your phone without the need to involve your PC.

There are the steps about how to use it.

a) Firstly, please ensure your Google account is already set up. If you have been using your Android phone for a while, you would have set up your Google account to use some Google products on your handset.

b) Download the Google Chrome browser onto a computer which is connected to a printer yet.

c) Go to Play Store on your Android phone, search Cloud Print, download and install it.

d) Open Google Chrome on your computer. Click the Menu icon, which is made up of 3 horizontal lines.

e) Then select Settings from the drop-down menu. Once the Settings page loads, scroll to the bottom and click on the “Show Advanced Settings” link.

f) Scroll to seek Google Cloud Print section. Tap Add Printers button below, which can help you find printers connected to your computer and set them up.

However, if you have added a printer before, there will be a button named Manage Print Settings which can change printers.

By the way, HTTPS technology is also used to send print jobs to the printer. If your Android phone supports this mode, it will only list printers that are accessible on the same subnet to which the smartphone is connected. Your phone will not list these printers once disconnected from your local network.

g) Open your Cloud Print app on your Android phone. Complete the setup. It will sync to your Google Cloud Print account.

h) Next, go to the file you want to print. Click on Share. Then, cloud Print will be an option in that menu.

i) Choose the print option. Your file should start printing when your computer is turned on. If it is not currently turned on, it will print the next time that you turn on the computer and printer.
