My phone/tablet charges slowly
My phone/tablet charges slowly |
If you are not using the standard charger and data cable
Chargers of different brands and with different power outputs have different charging specifications and fast charging principles. Using non-standard chargers or data cables may cause charging to be slow or fast charging to fail.
If you cannot use QuickCharge or SuperCharge
If you cannot use QuickCharge or SuperCharge, your charging speed will be slower.
Charging and using at the same time
When charging while using the phone/tablet, especially playing large games, more power will be consumed while charging, and the charging speed will be slowed down.
My phone/tablet charges slowly when connected to a computer with a USB cable or power bank
- Computer USB ports support less current. Therefore, it will take much longer to charge your phone/tablet with a computer via a USB cable.
- The charging protocols supported by your phone/tablet and the power bank may be different. Therefore, fast charging or super fast charging has failed to take effect.
The ambient temperature is too low
Your phone/tablet may charge slowly in a low temperature environment for safety considerations.
- Your phone/tablet will charge at a limited current when its temperature is between 0°C and 10°C.
- Your phone/tablet will charge as normal when its temperature is above 10°C.
- Your phone/tablet will stop charging when its temperature falls below 0°C.
If the issue persists, back up important data and take your phone/tablet, charger, data cable, and proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.
