My phone/tablet vibrates when connecting, disconnecting, or during a call |
If your phone/tablet vibrates when connecting or disconnecting a call
Your phone/tablet is designed to give haptics feedback when connecting or disconnecting a call. The details are as follows:
- Your phone/tablet will vibrate when an outgoing call is connected.
- Your phone/tablet will not vibrate when an incoming call is connected.
- If the other party hangs up, your phone/tablet will vibrate and make a beep sound. Your phone/tablet will not vibrate if you terminate the call.
The vibration effects in the preceding cases can't be canceled by configuring phone/tablet settings.
If your phone/tablet vibrates during a call
- When you have not enrolled fingerprints and you touch the fingerprint sensor during a call with the screen locked, your phone/tablet will vibrate. To prevent your phone/tablet from vibrating in this case, unlock the screen or avoid touching the fingerprint sensor during a call.
- If you touch and hold an app on the screen that is turned on and unlocked during a call, your phone/tablet will vibrate. To prevent vibration in this case, keep an appropriate distance away from the screen during a call.
- If Smart cover mode is enabled and you are making a call with the flip cover closed, a circle will be displayed for you to end the call whenever needed. Your phone/tablet will vibrate upon the circle being touched. To prevent vibration in this case, keep an appropriate distance away from the screen during a call.
