Introduction to Honor Graphics Modes
Introduction to graphics modes
Discrete graphics mode: Utilizes only the discrete graphics card, delivering optimal performance for immersive gaming and creative tasks.
Dual graphics mode: Engages both discrete and integrated graphics cards, balancing performance with battery efficiency for flexible use across gaming, creative work, and mobile productivity.
Integrated graphics mode: Relies solely on the integrated graphics card, maximizing battery life for mobile office use.

Integrated graphics mode: Relies solely on the integrated graphics card, maximizing battery life for mobile office use.
When to use Discrete graphics mode
When selecting Discrete graphics mode, the computer will restart. This mode completely deactivates the integrated graphics card, allowing only the discrete graphics card to operate. It's best suited for gaming or creative tasks, as it provides optimal performance by preventing any potential disruptions from graphics card switching.
When to use Dual graphics mode
Upon selecting Dual graphics mode, the computer will restart. In this mode, the integrated and discrete graphics cards work together, intelligently switching between them based on the workload. For light tasks like office work or basic graphic design, the integrated graphics card is used. For demanding applications such as large 3D games or video processing software, the discrete graphics card takes over. This dynamic switching effectively reduces overall power consumption and extends battery life.
When to use Integrated graphics mode
To activate Integrated graphics mode, the computer will restart. This completely disables the discrete graphics card, allowing only the integrated graphics card to operate. It's ideal for situations where maximizing battery life is essential, such as remote work or academic pursuits, as it substantially extends the device's operating time.
Note: External display output is not supported when in Integrated graphics mode.
