A Global Youth Innovation Movement: HONOR's Alpha Tour Unlocks a New Era of Collaborative Creativity and Potential

【SHENZHEN, China, July 8, 2025】Global leading AI device ecosystem company HONOR, in collaboration with the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), proudly concluded the inaugural "HONOR Alpha Art & Tech China Tour" (Alpha Tour). This global youth exchange program brought together 12 visionary young talents from nine countries, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, and the Czech Republic. Over an immersive 10-day journey across China, participants explored the intersection of technology, art, and culture under the theme "AI-Driven Symbiosis of Technology and Humanities: Unlocking Youth Creative Potential."

The Alpha Tour not only exemplifies HONOR's commitment to its human-centric philosophy but also redefines its vision of leveraging technology to unleash human potential. By infusing youth talent into the AI ecosystem outlined in the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, this initiative sets a significant practical precedent for fostering the youth innovation ecosystem on a global scale.

Multi-City Synergy: A Multi-Dimensional Journey to Unlock Creativity and Build Talent Networks

The Alpha Tour embodied the dual mission of the HONOR ALPHA PLAN: empowering individual potential while building a global network of young talent. Starting in Shenzhen, the 12 participants embarked on a transformative journey through Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Beijing, engaging in diverse experiences that spanned technological exploration, artistic creation, academic dialogue, and cultural immersion.

In Shenzhen, participants visited HONOR's headquarters and Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park, where they joined workshops on industrial design and user experience. Collaborating with HONOR designers, they explored the entire product development process—from concept to execution—gaining firsthand insights into how Chinese tech companies drive innovation through cutting-edge technology.

Guangzhou offered a vibrant dialogue between Lingnan culture and contemporary design. Participants explored historical landmarks such as Huangpu Ancient Port and enjoyed a night tour of Canton Tower. Designers also joined workshops, where they were given the opportunity to integrate local cultural elements into their innovation proposals.

In Hangzhou, participants had the opportunity to engage with academic experts from the China Academy of Art, deepening their understanding of Chinese artistic traditions while receiving valuable guidance for their creative endeavors.

Finally, Beijing served as the grand finale. Participants toured iconic cultural landmarks, including the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and Shichahai. At CAFA, they shared their unique perspectives on the fusion of art, culture, and technology, presenting ideas inspired by their journey across China.

HONOR Talents: Forging a New Path for Global Technology and Humanities Inclusion in the AI Era

HONOR Talents is evolving from a competition platform into a comprehensive global youth empowerment system. This strategic transformation reflects HONOR's mission to cultivate future innovators at the intersection of technology and humanities while strengthening its AI device ecosystem with fresh talent.

The HONOR Talents Global Design Awards has already attracted over 34,000 submissions from 47 countries and regions, generating 1.3 billion media impressions, and partnering with more than 240 universities and colleges with, 51% of participants being currently enrolled students. In addition to cash prizes and internship opportunities, it also introduced a platform to engage in conversations and exchanges with industry experts and peers from diverse cultural backgrounds.

HONOR Talents' global collaborations have further amplified its impact. In February 2024, HONOR and CAFA co-curated the exhibition "Dragon on Tour Global Celebration of the Lunar New Year", which featured works by over 20 designers from 13 countries and regions. By blending Chinese dragon motifs with international landmarks and traditional crafts, the exhibition garnered widespread acclaim and became a landmark example of export culture. From May to December 2024, the HONOR Talents Art Tour showcased the power of youth design globally, visiting prestigious venues such as the Champs-Élysées Palace in Paris, the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Soumaya Museum in Mexico City, and the Amos Rex Museum in Helsinki.

The Alpha Tour seamlessly echoes with HONOR's AI device ecosystem strategy, creating an integrated framework that bridges academia, industry, research, and application. Professors from the China Academy of Art and CAFA provided academic mentorship throughout the program, while HONOR's workshops and Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park enabled participants to bring their ideas to life. This closed-loop process—from theoretical learning to hands-on practice to creative realization—not only provided participants with cutting-edge technical support but also ensured their ideas aligned with HONOR's product scenarios and AI ecosystem needs, to truly unleash human potential

Closing Ceremony: A Celebration of Youth-Driven Innovation and Global Collaboration

The closing ceremony brought together international representatives, academic leaders, and industry experts to discuss the role of youth-driven innovation in merging technology and humanities. The event also unveiled the practical outcomes of Alpha Tour, highlighting the participants' creative achievements.

Dato' Norman Muhamad, Ambassador of Malaysia to China, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are grateful to HONOR for providing this invaluable opportunity for young talent. I look forward to seeing HONOR not only as a leader in technology but also as a bridge connecting nations, a driver of dreams, and a model of responsible innovation."

J. Enrique Escamilla N., Minister at the Embassy of Mexico to China, remarked, "The Alpha Tour is a celebration of innovation, creativity, and bold thinking. It unites cultures, breaks boundaries, and drives societal change. Both Mexico and China share rich cultural heritages and ambitious visions for the future. We are proud to collaborate with HONOR and these visionary young individuals to build a sustainable, inclusive future where technology serves humanity."

Professor Zhuo Fan, Vice Dean of the School of Urban Design at CAFA, commented, "These young talents came together with the mission of 'creating sustainable value through art and technology.' They return home with solutions that transcend borders. Let this journey in China be the starting point for making art and technology a universal language, as the Book of Rites said: 'Harmony in diversity leads to unity under heaven.'"

Mr. Martin XU, Senior Vice President at HONOR, stated in his closing remarks, "Over the past four years, we've partnered with diverse partners to advance over 100 strategic projects. Beyond universities, we've engaged more than 34,000 young talents in the last five years. Looking ahead, we will continue to expand our efforts, forging connections with more universities and young talent."

The successful conclusion of HONOR's first Alpha Tour marks not an endpoint but a new beginning. Through the dual drivers of "technology and humanities," HONOR has built a cross-border youth empowerment ecosystem that provides a global stage for creativity while injecting fresh perspectives into industrial innovation.

In today's interconnected world, youth are pivotal as cultural ambassadors and technological pioneers, posing crucial cross-cultural collaboration capabilities. Moving forward, HONOR will continue to unite resources from academia, industry, and beyond to develop a professional, youthful, community-oriented, and internationalized youth empowerment system. As demonstrated by the Alpha Tour, when the wisdom of global youth converges under the HONOR ALPHA PLAN, it unlocks limitless possibilities for the fusion of technology and humanities. Together, we can chart a path toward a brighter future where human potential is fully realized.
