Not long ago, HONOR launched a new member to its budget X lineup — the HONOR 9X PRO. Let's take a look at where this new member shines.
Innovative design
Unpacking the HONOR 9X PRO
You may have been hearing about the pop-up selfie camera, it's been on the market quite a while now. So, it's not exactly new. But the HONOR 9X PRO's pop-up camera isn't like the rest: It uses an electronic mechanism, significantly improving the device's lifespan (mechanical ones are more prone to wear and tear). In addition, the camera will automatically retract if it senses the camera is in free fall. Tests have been run from as short a distance as the bed to the floor and it worked perfectly protecting the camera each time (so don’t worry if you’re sending a few goodnight selfies before bedtime!).
The HONOR 9X PRO also integrates the fingerprint sensor into its side power button. The 2-in-1 button allows you to lock and unlock the screen, launch HiVoice, and power on or off the phone. To accommodate more users' needs, the HONOR 9X PRO comes with a Type-C charging port and a 3.5 mm headset jack at the bottom.
Maxed-out battery
The HONOR 9X PRO packs a mammoth 4000 mAh battery. Combined with the Kirin 810's power-saving algorithm and liquid cooling technology, the battery easily lasts more than one day on a single charge. It has killer performance even when playing games and watching videos. GPU Turbo 3.0 and the Kirin Gaming+ core AI frequency modulation keep the device at an ideal temperature without sacrificing the game experience. The only downside is the charging speed. The battery is 5 V/2 A, which means that it takes about 2 hours to charge completely (still not bad!).
Terrific photography performance
The HONOR 9X PRO features a triple-camera setup on the back, with an optical 4800 MP primary camera, 120-degree wide-angle camera, and a depth camera. The ISO sensitivity has been increased tremendously, and now reaches 102400, delivering stunning night photography performance. Just check out these day and night photos!
The HONOR 9X PRO is a phone you don't want to miss out on, packing the Kirin 810 chipset, dual-channel Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 2.1, 8 GB of RAM, and 92% screen-to-body ratio. It's going to be tough to find a better steal.
