Rickety Bridge is currently the featured location in Marvel Snap. What this means is that thic location will appear more often for the next 48 hours. One of the strategies to increasing your chances of winning is to leverage of the game's featured location.
So, what is Rickety Bridge?
This means that this location can only have ONE card at any one time. Once there are more than one card, all the cards (on both sides) will be destroyed. So, this leads to several strategies and card options for your deck…
Go Offensive..
..Or sabotage your opponent. You just need to take play cards that adds a card to this location on your opponent’s side. Cards like Debrii and Green Goblin are useful for this. It goes without saying though -- You play them after your opponent has played a card at the Rickety Bridge.
Once your opponent has got more than one card in that location, all cards at that location gets destroyed.
There is also the super offensive play – Dr Octopus. You can expect to destroy four cards with Dr Octopus.
Take Advantage
You can also use this location to trigger some of your card effects. Bucky Barnes and Nova comes in handy. Bucky will get replaced with Winter Soldier while Nova will then buff all your other cards.
Buff
Since this location is likely to only have 1 card, you might want to play Klaw on the left and buff the Rickety Bridge. So, only downside to this is.. You can’t play maximise Klaw if Rickety Bridge is your left most location. Nova also helps with this strategy since Nova will buff your cards by +1.
Defensive
If you want to play a traditional game and go defensive, you can try to play Armor at Rickety Bridge so cards do not get destroyed.
You can also play cards that will change this location. For example, Rhino, Storm, Scarlet Witch or even Galactus.
Counter Defensive
So, if Armor is going to be played in many decks, you might want to have Enchantress to sabotage your opponent’s Armor. You’ll want to play this when your opponent has already got more than 1 card at the Rickety Bridge.
Let me know if you found the above useful in facing Rickety Bridge. What other cards are you using for the next 48 hours due to this featured location?
