Nearly 100% Screen to Body Ratio

As shown in the official teaser, HONOR Magic2 boasts its full screen display with nearly 100% of screen-to-body ratio. To make this happen, the handset used the mechanism of slider – called Magic Slide, where the front camera is hidden behind the slider. With the Magic Slide, notch is no longer needed, therefore a full screen display becomes possible. In addition, the 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution also make HONOR Magic2 a perfect flagship.

As there is no place to locate the fingerprint sensor in the back or in the main screen, the phone will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor with 3D face recognition.

Triple Camera

This upcoming magic phone is equipped with triple cameras on the back, and a single front camera. Upon the official release, more details will be revealed about the specs and functions of these lenses. Generally speaking, each lens will have its own responsibility when taking pictures, and with lenses serving for different functions, it is easier to shoot photos with different depth of field.

3400mAh Battery

HONOR Magic2 is equipped with a fairly large battery of 3400mAh, and as it will support Huawei’s impressively (10V/4A) 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology, we can expect that it is no need to worry about running out of battery life. Especially, the phone is built on Kirin 980 - the latest Kirin chipset, with better performance than Snapdragon 845 (read comparison between Kirin 980 vs Snapdragon 845) and the previous Kirin chipsets, the battery consumption is also much improved.

Android 9.0 Pie

All the current latest HONOR phones are running on EMUI 8 which is based on Android 8. While on HONOR Magic2, the software takes the form of the latest build of EMUI 9.0 running atop Android 9.0 Pie, coming with a new AI assistant called ‘YoYo’. Abundant new features have been introduced in Android Pie, such as App Actions, App slices, New gesture navigation, Security and privacy features, Digital Wellbeing, Adaptive battery and Adaptive brightness. With this latest Android system, the mobile phone experience is becoming much better and convenient.
