Terms & Conditions
Honor Protection Service Agreement: Screen Coverage Terms & Conditions
This Screen Protection Service Agreement (the "Agreement") establishes the contractual terms between the device owner (the "Customer") and Honor regarding supplemental product coverage. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before you purchase the Magic V6 Protection Plan.
I. Definitions
Device: Refers exclusively to the specific eligible hardware unit for which this coverage was issued—specifically, Honor Magic V6.
Company: Refers to Honor, its subsidiaries, and its authorized service networks.
II. Scope of the Screen Protection Plan
The Honor Screen Protection Plan provides a limited commercial coverage extension for a duration of 12 months, commencing from the verified date of hardware purchase.
Entitlement: Within the 12-month validity period, the Customer is entitled to a one-time (1) complimentary repair or replacement of both the primary internal folding display and the secondary external display, provided the malfunction is caused by accidental physical impact, drops, or external pressure (non-manufacturing defects).
Authorized Servicing: All diagnostic and replacement services under this plan must be executed exclusively by an official Honor Service Centre.
Exclusions from Display Coverage: This plan applies strictly to the display panels. It does not cover internal circuit boards, chassis structures, external housing, battery units, bundled accessories, or promotional items/gifts.
Pre-requisite Repairs: If a display failure is exacerbated or caused by damage to adjacent internal and external components—including but not limited to the Mainboard, Back Cover, Cameras, and Frames—the Customer must authorize and fund the repair of these non-display components at standard retail rates before display coverage can be fulfilled.
Liquid Contamination: Liquid ingress or water damage is strictly excluded from this policy unless accompanied by concurrent, visible physical fracturing of the display glass resulting from an eligible accidental event.
Property Rights: Upon completion of service, all damaged or defective components removed from the Device automatically become the exclusive property of Honor.
III. Claim Protocols & Service Channels
To initiate a service request during the active coverage window, the Customer must utilize one of the following official service pathways:
In-Person (Walk-In): The Customer may present the Device, the original proof of purchase (tax invoice/receipt), and a copy of this Agreement directly to an authorized Honor Service Centre.
Postal Service (Mail-In): The Customer may submit the Device, the original proof of purchase, and this Agreement to an authorized Honor Service Centre via secure courier.
⚠️ Mandatory Data Backup Notice
It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to securely back up all personal data, proprietary applications, and custom configurations prior to service submission. Neither Honor nor its authorized service centres assume any liability for the loss, corruption, recovery, or compromise of user data during the diagnostic or repair process.
IV. Eligibility and Validity Window
This complementary Screen Protection Plan is provisioned strictly to customers who complete their purchase of the Device through the Honor Official Channels within the promotional window opening at 12:00 AM (AEDT) on 2nd July, 2026, and concluding at 11:59 PM (AEDT) on July 15, 2026. Coverage persists for exactly 12 calendar months from the documented date of purchase within this window.
V. Operational Declarations
Every device submitted undergoes a mandatory technical evaluation by an authorized Honor technician to verify the nature of the failure and confirm coverage eligibility under this Agreement.
The Screen Protection Plan is a single-use policy covering one main and one secondary display replacement cycle. Upon fulfillment of these repairs, the obligations of the Company under this contract are fully discharged, and the Agreement terminates automatically.
VI. General Policy Exemptions
This Protection Plan is rendered null and void, and claims will be denied, under any of the following circumstances:
The Device IMEI number is missing, defaced, altered, or does not match official purchase logs.
The damage is the result of a deliberate act, gross negligence, or fraudulent activity committed by the Customer or their representatives.
The issues are subject to a broader manufacturer recall, product quality campaign, or widely identified design defects.
The damage is purely cosmetic, including but not limited to superficial scratches, minor dents, paint peeling, rust, discoloration, or natural wear and tear.
The Device exhibits catastrophic destruction (e.g., structural fragmentation, missing components, or complete separation of sub-assemblies) rendering it technically unrepairable.
The failure affects standard consumable items or peripherals, including charging blocks, data cables, styluses, memory cards, or audio accessories.
The claim seeks remedy for indirect, consequential, or incidental economic losses, or punitive damages.
The Device malfunction stems from operating system alterations, unauthorized software modifications, firmware errors, or malicious code/viruses.
The Device is reported lost or stolen.
The hardware failure occurs within, and is fully covered by, the standard statutory manufacturer's warranty.
The damage is precipitated by Force Majeure events, including acts of war, civil unrest, terrorism, industrial strikes, or natural catastrophes (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis, etc.).
The Device has been opened, repaired, or modified by an unauthorized third-party technician or non-certified service facility.
The service request is filed outside the specified 12-month validity window.
The Customer seeks compensation for the post-repair reduction in the commercial resale value of the Device.
VII. Contractual Termination
This Agreement shall immediately terminate and forfeit all remaining coverage if:
The active 12-month promotional coverage term lapses.
The Device undergoes unauthorized structural modifications, disassembly, or third-party repair.
The Customer attempts to lease, rent, resell, or fraudulently transfer the coverage benefits to another individual.
The maximum service allotment (one display replacement cycle) has been completed.
VIII. Commercial Limitations & Transferability
Statutory Consumer Guarantees: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable local consumer protection laws in the country of purchase (including the Australian Consumer Law, or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, as applicable). This Protection Plan is provided in addition to, and does not affect or limit, your statutory rights under applicable local laws.
Refund Policy: This plan is an integrated promotional benefit with zero cash value. It is strictly non-refundable, non-returnable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
Transfer Restrictions: This policy is uniquely tied to the original Device hardware IMEI. It cannot be transferred to any other handset, except in cases where the original Device is completely replaced by Honor under a validated statutory warranty exchange. In such instances, the remaining balance of the 12-month coverage window will be transferred to the replacement serial number.
