    HONOR Care Extended Warranty
    Terms & Conditions



    HONOR Care Extended Warranty (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) is a service provided by Honor Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HONOR” or “we”), for certain devices purchased on specified channels within the event period. This Terms and Conditions for the HONOR Care Extended Warranty (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions”) constitutes an effective and binding agreement between you and us regarding the HONOR Care+ Screen Protection. Please read and understand this Terms and Conditions carefully. Your use of this Service signifies your entire acceptance of the present Terms and Conditions.

    1. Service contents

    1.1 General Information
    (1) If you purchase certain devices through specified channels during the Promotion Period, HONOR will make the Service available to you. The Service applies only to certain products where this benefit is clearly marked at the time of purchase (hereinafter the "Covered Product").
    (2) The coverage of this service refers to repairs of the covered product within the warranty period. A brief introduction to the most important information about the warranty policy can also be found under https://www.honor.com/uk/support/warranty-policy/ .
    (3) The Service provided shall have a validity period of twelve (12) months / twenty-four (24) months / thirty-six (36) months (hereinafter the "Validity Period"), depending on the applicable Covered Product, commencing at the end of the regular warranty period.
    You can find the full list of Covered Products, the specified channels, the respective promotion period and the validity period of the Service at the end of Section
    (4) During the validity period, the User may use this Service several times, subject to the warranty conditions established by HONOR. A brief introduction to the most important information on the warranty policy can also be found under https://www.honor.com/uk/support/warranty-policy/ .
    (5) The Service is excluded in all cases listed in Section 3 "Cases Not Covered by the Service".
    (6) If components that are not included in the scope of the Service are also damaged and such damage is deemed by HONOR to be a direct obstacle to the safe or effective performance of a Covered Repair, the User will be informed of this and may choose whether to repair such uncovered damaged components first at their own expense. If the user declines this option, HONOR may not be able to perform the covered repair and will provide a detailed explanation.

    2. Use of the Service

    2.1 Whenever the Covered Product meets the conditions set forth in Section 1 "Service Contents", the User may log in to the official website of the HONOR Service (https://www.honor.com/uk/support/) and redeem the Service.
    2.2 The request to redeem the Service must be made before the expiry of the validity period.
    2.3 After submitting a repair request, the User will receive a label by email to send the covered product to HONOR's authorized service center. Upon receipt of the Product at the HONOR Service Center, it will inform the Customer whether the requirements of these Terms and Conditions are met or, failing that, it will issue an offer that the Customer will have to pay.
    2.4 If the Customer refuses to pay the Service Fee or fails to make the payment within 30 days, the HONOR Service Center will return the Covered Product to the Customer without repair.



    3. Cases not covered by the Service:

    The following cases are excluded from service:
    (1) normal wear and tear of the equipment or other signs of age of the equipment.
    (2) The use of the product in a manner that deviates from normal and customary methods.
    (3) Any disassembly, repair, alteration or modification by anyone other than HONOR or an authorized service center.
    (4) Improper use, misuse, negligence, or an accident, regardless of the cause.
    (5) Improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, or any alteration or modification of the product.
    (6) Food or liquid spillage, corrosion, rust, or the use of incorrect voltage.
    (7) Scratches or damage to plastic surfaces and any other parts visible from the outside due to normal use.
    (8) Use outside of the use permitted in the product's user manual.
    (9) If the serial number or warranty seal on the product is illegible, damaged, or removed; or there is no proof of purchase.
    (10) Any software or other equipment owned by HONOR or any third party; however, please review the End User License Agreement, separate warranty/warranty statements, and/or any exclusions provided or provided for such items.



    4. Additional Terms of Service

    4.1 This service is non-refundable or non-cancellable, except for the return of final products in accordance with the Product Warranty Policy. At the same time, this service is connected to the covered product purchased by the customer and cannot be transferred to other people or devices.
    4.2 If the Covered Product has a quality defect and the Customer requests a motherboard/motherboard replacement or replacement in accordance with the Product Warranty Policy and has not yet used this service, then:
    (1) If a new Product is replaced within 30 days of purchase, this service will be transferred to the new Product and the validity period will be recalculated from the date of replacement.
    (2) If the motherboard/motherboard is replaced more than 30 days after purchase, this service will be transferred to the product with the new serial number, and the customer can continue to use the remaining period of validity of this service.



    5. Disclaimer

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, HONOR assumes no responsibility for the following situations:
    (1) loss of customer records or data. Customers are required to send in their covered product for repair without any personal information.
    (2) Any kind of indirect damage caused by product damage, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of income or profit, damage to reputation, psychological damage, loss of downtime and lost labor costs, etc. As well as any other indirect or incidental damages.
    Customer agrees that we will provide you with compliant products and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and Customer is responsible for using such products at its own risk. If the customer is a minor, the consent of the parent or legal guardian must also be obtained. Except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, HONOR makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this Service (except as otherwise required by law).
    In any event, HONOR's responsibilities under these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to contract, warranty, tort and other liabilities, shall not exceed the total service fees paid by you.



    6. Termination of Service

    6.1 In one of the following cases, the Service will be terminated automatically.
    (1) expiration of the period of validity of the Service specified in Section 1.1 of these Terms and Conditions.
    (2) After examination by the authorized HONOR center, it is determined that there are cases according to Section 3 (Cases not covered by the Service).
    (3) If it is found that the Customer has intentionally damaged the Covered Product for fraudulent purposes, HONOR may refuse to provide the Service without any liability for the failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions. At the same time, HONOR reserves the right to take legal action.



    7. Dispute resolution

    The present Terms and Conditions are governed by England and Wales law. In the event of a dispute during the implementation of these Terms and Conditions, the competent English court shall have the sole jurisdiction.



    8. Privacy statement

    When making use of the Service, Honor Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. will process, as data controller, personal data provided by customers to provide the Service under the legal basis of fulfilling its obligations specified in the present Terms and Conditions.
    Customers may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, right to object, or to data portability and send their request by fulfilling the form available here.

    9. Right to Modify and Interpret

    Honor Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. reserves the right to modify, update, or adjust these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to users. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
    Honor Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. holds the final right of interpretation regarding the Service, including but not limited to service content, usage rules, and related rights.
