The Screen and Back Cover Protection service provides customers with the following coverage:
• Tablets: One (1) screen replacement within 365 days from the service purchase date.
• Phones (non-foldable): One (1) screen replacement and one (1) back cover replacement within 365 days from the service purchase date.
Coverage applies only to damage caused by accidental collisions, falls, or drops during normal use, including damaged or broken screens or back covers. Repairs can be carried out at all HONOR Authorised Service Centers with a labor fee applicable.
The Screen Crack Protection service provides customers with the following coverage:
• Foldable Phones: One (1) inner screen replacement and one (1) outer screen replacement within 760 days from the service purchase date
Coverage applies only to damage caused by accidental collisions, falls, or drops during normal use. Repairs can be carried out at all HONOR Authorised Service Centers, except for excluded locations (as defined in Q5), with a labor fee applicable.
You may purchase the Screen and Back Cover Protection or Screen Crack Protection services through the following channels:
• In-person at an HONOR Experience Store or HONOR Authorised Service Center if your device is within 5 days of activation.
• As an add-on deal at the product or cart page before checkout when buying a new device (selected models) on the HONOR Malaysia official website here.
• From the HONOR Care service products page if your device is within 5 days of activation.
Yes. A labor fee of RM60 applies for non-foldable devices, and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes).
1. 1-Year Screen and Back Cover Protection: Visit any HONOR Authorised Service Center with your device and proof of service purchase. Authorized personnel will assist you with the replacement process.
2. 2-Year Screen Crack Protection: Available at all
HONOR Authorised Service Center
except the following locations:
a. Taman Flora Utama, Batu
Pahat, Johor
b. Kompleks Perniagaan Pintu 10, Alor Setar,
Kedah
c. Yakin Commercial Centre, Miri, Sarawak
No. Repairs under these services do not qualify for promotional offers, including HONOR Service Day. Customers must pay the applicable labor fee.
• They may be purchased alongside the Extended Warranty, if applicable.
• They cannot be purchased concurrently with Accidental Damage Protection.
HONOR Screen and Back Cover Protection, including the Screen Protection (“Screen Protection”), Back Cover Protection (“Back Cover Protection”), and Screen Crack Protection (“Screen Crack Protection”) (collectively, “Services” and each, “Service”), are provided by Honor Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No.: 202101003804 (1404103-P)), with registered office at Level 23A & 25, Menara Binjai, No. 2, Jalan Binjai, 50450 Kuala Lumpur (“HONOR”).
These Terms and Conditions serve as an effective contract between you and HONOR regarding the Services. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By utilizing this service, you acknowledge your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from proceeding with the operation or purchase, as you will not be able to benefit from this service.
1. Service Content
1.1 Upon acquiring the Screen and Back Cover Protection or Screen Crack Protection, your device is covered under normal usage conditions for the applicable period. This protection applies to cracks, damage, or breakage of the screen or back cover resulting solely from accidental collisions, falls, or drops.
1.2 The Services provide coverage as follows:
(a) Tablets: One (1) screen replacement within 365 days from the
date of purchase of the Service.
(b) Phones (non-foldable devices): One (1) screen replacement and
one (1) back cover replacement within 365 days from the date of
purchase of the Service.
(c) Foldable Phones: One (1) inner screen replacement and one (1)
outer screen replacement within 760 days from the date of purchase
of the Service.
1.3 Replacement of screens or back covers covered under this Services will incur no additional charge for parts; however, a labor fee of RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes) will apply.
2. Service Availability
The Services are applicable only under the following conditions:
2.1 The Service is applicable only to selected device models and must be purchased within 5 days of device activation.
2.2 The Service must be within its validity period, and the Service must not have been fully utilized.
2.3 The Service will not apply if any circumstances listed in Section 3 to Section 5 that fall outside the guaranteed scope of coverage.
2.4 The device must be purchased in Malaysia.
3. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Screen Protection service:
3.1 The protection covers internal or external cracks, damaged, or broken screen due to accidental collision, falling or dropping only.
3.2 Screen replacements covered under the Screen Protection will be free of charge on the spare parts, but a labor fee will be charged (RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes)).
3.3 Please note that this Screen Protection can only be claimed once per device.
3.4 Additional fees or charges may be imposed for other parts damaged as diagnosed by the HONOR Authorised Service Center. Kindly refer to the HONOR Spare Parts Price list for details on spare parts pricing. If you require any repair assistance, please contact or visit any HONOR Authorised Service Center.
3.5 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Screen Protection.
(a) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery
leakage, or commercial usage;
(b) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or
failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or
maintenance instructions;
(c) Damage that does not occur within the Screen Protection period;
and/or
(d) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the
Customers.
4. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Back Cover Protection service:
4.1 The protection covers internal or external cracks, damaged, or broken back covers due to accidental collision, falling, or dropping only for phone devices.
4.2 Back cover crack replacements covered under the Back Cover Protection will be free of charge on the spare parts, but a labor fee will be charged (RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices (excluding applicable taxes)).
4.3 Please note that this Back Cover Protection can only be claimed once per phone device.
4.4 Additional fees may be charged for other parts damaged as diagnosed by the HONOR Authorised Service Center. Kindly refer to the HONOR Spare Parts Price list for details on spare parts pricing. If you require any repair assistance, please contact or visit any HONOR Authorised Service Center.
4.5 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Back Cover Protection.
(a) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery
leakage, or commercial usage;
(b) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or
failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or
maintenance instructions
(c) Damage that does not occur within the Back Cover Protection
period; and/or
(d) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the
Customers.
5. Below are the specific terms applicable to the 2-Year Screen Crack Protection service:
5.1 The Service covers one (1) inner screen replacement and one (1) outer screen replacement per eligible device, which will be valid for a period of 760 days from the date of Service activation. For the avoidance of doubt, the Service coverage shall not be construed to cover two (2) inner screen replacements or two (2) outer screen replacements under any circumstances.
5.2 Coverage under this Service applies only to screen damage or cracks caused by accidental drops, collisions, or squeezing during normal use of the device.
5.3 After purchasing the Service, Customers are not required to pay any additional charges for the screen replacement; however, a labor fee of RM80 (excluding applicable taxes) applies per repair session.
5.4 The Service can be offered and utilized at all HONOR Authorized Service Centers except the following locations (“Excluded Service Centers”):
(a) Taman Flora Utama, Batu Pahat, Johor
(b) Kompleks Perniagaan Pintu 10, Alor Setar, Kedah
(c) Yakin Commercial Centre, Miri, Sarawak
5.5 Additional fees or charges may be imposed for damage to components or parts not covered under this Service, as diagnosed by HONOR's Authorized Service Center. Kindly refer to the HONOR Spare Parts Price list for details on spare parts pricing. If you require any repair assistance, please contact, or visit any selected HONOR's Authorized Service Center.
5.6 Any damage resulted and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the 2-Year Screen Crack Protection.
(a) Damage or cracks caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion,
battery leakage, or use of the device for commercial or non-personal
purposes;
(b) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications,
repairs, or failure to comply with the manufacturer's installation,
operation, or maintenance instructions;
(c) Damage or cracks that occur outside the Validity Period of the
Service; and/or
(d) Damage or cracks that are intentionally or deliberately caused
by the Customers.
6. Transfer or Revocation
6.1 The Service is non-refundable and non-transferable.
6.2 If you replace your device due to quality failure under HONOR's warranty policy and have not used the Service, the remaining period of the Service will transfer to the new device.
6.3 If the mainboard is replaced under warranty and the Service has not been used, the remaining period of the Service will transfer to the new mainboard.
7. Service Termination
7.1 The Screen and Back Cover Protection service, including 2-Year Screen Crack Protection for foldable devices, will automatically terminate under the following conditions:
(a) The service period has expired;
(b) For tablets, the one (1) screen replacement provided under the
service has been utilized;
(c) For phones (non-foldable), the one (1) screen replacement and
one (1) back cover replacement provided under the service have been
utilized;
(d) For foldable phones under 2-Year Screen Crack Protection, the
one (1) inner screen and one (1) outer screen replacement provided
under the service have been utilized; or
(e) If an engineer at a HONOR Authorized Service Center determines
that the device has been privately dismantled or unauthorized
repairs have been performed.
7.2 If it is determined that the device has been deliberately damaged for fraudulent purposes, HONOR reserves the right to terminate the service immediately and refuse any further coverage under the Screen and Back Cover Protection or Screen Crack Protection services. At the same time, HONOR reserve the right to pursue legal liabilities.
8. Liability Limitations
8.1 Where permitted by law, HONOR is not responsible for any of the following situations:
(a) Losses of your records or data;
(b) All indirect losses caused by product damage (including but not
limited to personal injury, loss of income or profit, loss of
reputation, loss of spirit, loss of failure time, and any other
indirect or incidental losses such as loss of work time) shall not
be liable for any other indirect or incidental losses.
8.2 You agree that we will only provide you with legal products and services on the basis of "as is" and "as available", and you are responsible for using this product at your own risk. If you are a minor, you should also obtain the consent of your guardian. Unless otherwise expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, HONOR Malaysia does not make any implied statement or guarantee for this service (except as otherwise provided by law).
8.3 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities or claims including reasonable attorney's fees, initiated/made by any third party or penalty imposed due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions or any document(s) incorporated by reference, your misuse of the Service or your violation of any law, rules, regulations or the rights of a third party.
8.4 To the fullest extent permissible by laws, you agree to discharge and release HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to the Service.
9. Customer Consent for Personal Data Use
By providing personal data, customers consent to its use by HONOR for service-related purposes in compliance with applicable data protection laws. This includes promotional activities and administrative matters related to the service.
10. Confirmation of Personal Data Provision
By providing personal data, the Customer(s) confirm that:
10.1 they agree and consent to the collection, processing, and transfer of their personal data for the purposes of the provision of the Service, in accordance with applicable Personal Data Protection laws and regulations; and
10.2 they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Statement About HONOR Platform and Privacy and HONOR’s Marketing Activities Privacy Statement. The Customer(s) further agree that HONOR and/or its agents and/or third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email, or other methods in connection with this Service.
11. Recycling of the Replaced Malfunction Spare Parts
You acknowledge and agree that the property rights of faulty parts replaced during repairs using this service belong to us, and we will recycle them through HONOR Authorised Service Centers.
12. Dispute Resolution
If there is a dispute during the implementation of the terms of these Terms and Conditions, the parties to the dispute can resolve it through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached after negotiation, all parties to the dispute shall apply to the court in Malaysia to resolve it through litigation according to Malaysia law.
